Took a little container out of freezer, stared at it a moment, recognized it finally as barbecued pork, so that will be my dinner, along with a salad of some kind.

I will cook some smoked green onion Cajun sausage and put some potatoes in the oven to roast and slice some fresh tomatoes and cukes.

I had a late lunch so I just ate some of the pound cake I made today with fresh strawberries.

Phyllis: If I didn't label everything, I'd always have surprise meals. lol But then again that might be fun.
Raven: Is your sausage mild or hot? I like in between. I'd love to have fresh tomatoes.
Glenda: I had to look up what you meant by "original". I enlarged the picture and man, that looks good.
Sue: Fresh strawberries. I swear I could make a meal on them and Raven's tomatoes.

Working my way through my stash of Progresso soups, with the big skillet of cornbread from earlier this week. Tonight was Chicken with Dumplings. Yesterday was White Beans with Chicken Sausage, which was not very good. However, the cat enjoyed the broth. I love cornbread and make it often, store it in the freezer. It is a rainy night here and the soup was good.

Busy day today (really, about the last 10 or so days) and we're doing our easy fall back dinner.

DH is outside roasting potatoes and will do a quick steak on the grill, I'm going to just steam some asparagus and rinse some blueberries for some antioxidants...

I think I'll do a nicer dinner at some point this weekend, I somehow have a sale ham in each of two refrigerators, use by dates on both first week in June. One I'll freeze, the other I'll cook. We'll probably be having ham with au gratin potatoes, ham and bean soup, ham and eggs - all next week ;)
