Shirley, hoping you are ok since you might not post next week? I have an evening alone so I treated myself to a lobster. Under $8 for a small one. It was just announced that police shot and killed one of the two escaped murderers. Hoping they get the other one soon.

Next door neighbor called me over to have a beer with him, which I did, and now I'm going to eat my enchilada and cottage cheese.

Second time this week, with another friend, for lunch at Papadeaux.

We shared steamed and fried crab claws.

I had half dozen raw oysters on the the half shell, she had skewered seafood with veggies.

We shared praline cheesecake for dessert.

We shared some blue crab nachos for lunch which were very good. For dinner we are going to use the remaining grilled shrimp from last night add some homemade Pico made with Vidalia onions and fresh tomatoes and lime juice a little shredded lettuce and wrap it up in a flour tortilla. I have cantaloupe and fresh cherries for desert.
The wind is gusting very strong here at the beach today, I was wondering if we were going to blow away! Other than that beautiful day here today.
They served home made fresh cooked potato chips with our lunch, they were fried dark and seasoned with Fajita seasoning... Omg mmm... I could eat a sinful amount of those.

We had 2 for 1 coupons to a new diner that opened in our neighbourhood.

I had chicken tenders, french fries and coleslaw, hubby and fish and chips with coleslaw. Homemade batters and homemade chips. Excellent food.

Pam: Gee, I have $8. Can we have lobster together?
Phyllis: Beer first, then some good food for a 'chaser'. I hope you enjoyed it all.
Glenda: I'll take some of each food you and friend had. It's been eons since I was in Mass and had oysters on the half shell.
Raven: You have me drooling again over the pictures of your luscious foods.
Jasdip: Isn't it nice to have a new place to eat, coupon, plus meals that were excellent! I'd like a place like that close by.

Raven, that looks so good. I am salivating. I've been cleaning, cleaning, cleaning all day. DS and SO and her twin boys are coming on Sunday. I've been playing too much golf and bridge and the house was showing it. I got a lot done because today was my only day. I'm playing golf both Saturday and Sunday (before they come. Tomorrow night I will prep Sunday's dinner. I was very tired tonight so just had a hamburger with some onions and gazpacho with some shrimp. It really hit the spot.

Pork medallions wrapped in thick maple thyme bacon, Kale (pretty well only thing growing in the garden) and baked potatoes. If I remember correctly it was the ends of the tenderloin that I did up as the medallions since it's such a small diameter. Whatever it was, it's was amazing.

Sliced cucumber, fresh from the garden with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
Pan seared teriyaki tuna steaks, asian noodles, and steamed broccoli.

I stopped on the way home and had a Gyro on Pita. I hadn't been in a while. The guy said it was nice to see me back. Their Gryos on Pita are quite large. The one he made me was humongous. I couldn't finish it. Tzatziki and a bit of hot chili sauce. Yum.
