The Fall is really good. Gillian Anderson is excellent as a police detective and Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey in the 50 shades) is a creepy serial killer. Disturbing, but really good.

The series centers on Kevin Corcoran, an Irish immigrant police detective trying to keep the peace in the historical Five Points neighborhood in 1860s New York City while searching for information on the disappearance of his wife and death of his daughter. It explores the effects of the American Civil War as well as the social stratification involving New York's aristocracy and African American population.

I really liked Sons of Anarchy. I didn't think I would based on what I knew about it, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. Scandal is very good too if you haven't seen it.

I'm catching up on a lot of shows that I missed growing up, like X-Files, Grey's Anatomy and Scrubs. And about a list a mile long of shows I want to watch. So many good things!

I've heard House of Cards is very good but I haven't seen it yet.

Chi83, I really enjoyed Sons of Anarchy too! Surprised me that I would like it, but it grabbed me the first episode. (I just watched the finale yesterday, still sad.)

I just started watching "Lost" Its not new but a great series!

We saw Chef and No Reservations on the weekend. Both have to do with restaurants and cooking. Excellent movies.

I just finished watching Winds Of War, based on the novel by Herman Wouk, a terrific writer. He wrote The Caine Mutiny and Onionhead, besides The Winds Of War and War and Remembrance, a sequel to Winds O War. Winds was a miniseries in the 70s, I watched it then and remembered that I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed watching it again. Set in the years before the US got into WWII, ends just after Pearl Harbor. War and Remembrance is not available to stream on Netflix.

I like "Foyles War." It's long running, lots of episodes.

Murdoch Mysteries seasons 1-3. Murdoch Mysteries is a Canadian television drama series aired on both City and CBC Television, titled The Artful Detective in the United States, featuring Yannick Bisson as William Murdoch, a police detective working in Toronto, Ontario, around the turn of the twentieth century. The television series is based on characters from the novel series by Maureen Jennings. You can watch later seasons on HULU.

We are now watching Grace & Frankie and we really enjoy it. I find it to be both different and funny. I resisted when it was first mentioned but I am glad I decided to give it a chance. I enjoyed House of Cards; the first and second seasons were great but the third was less than exciting. I really enjoyed watching the original HOC with was British and first done by the BBC in the late 80s - early 90s. I think I am slow to Netflix but from what I have seen, it's kinda great. We also watched The Paradise which was just OK but we discovered it when we searched for more shows with the actress who is the daughter of Celia in Last Tango, Sarah Lancashire. We found that she was also in Happy Valley which we watched and thought it was very good.

Lots and lots of great stuff on Netflix. Have fun and enjoy.

I don't have Netflix, but may talk DH into it because the third season of Longmire is not on cable anymore, but Netflix picked it up and premiered it a few days ago. :-( We both LOVED the first two seasons!

I loved Grace and Frankie, hilarious.

I liked True Detective and another new one is coming out with different actors. Also, me and my son loved Newsroom.

"The Hour". About a news program in 1956 London. Lots of intrigue, scandal and some espionage. Really good and suspenseful, but ends on a cliffhanger.

Oh I'll have to finish watching Longmire now. Love that show. Just finished Bloodline. It was good. Looking forward to second season. The Following is really good too. Loved Sons of Anarchy. I'll have to check out The Fall. I've been looking for new things to watch.

Season 3 of Orange is the New Black begins running on June 12.
