I watched it. I tried to get into it. I wanted to REALLY like it, but it didn't happen for me.

I am sorry to hear it was canceled. We enjoyed it, and it ended with such a cliffhanger!

I watched the first two episodes and dropped it. It just didn't hold my interest. On the other hand, I really like Madame Secretary and I didn't expect to like it at all.

Battle Creek was cancelled too, I just found out. We were liking that show.

That's too bad about Battle Creek. I really wanted that show to work.

I liked "Battle Creek." but "State of Affairs" was weak. A major part of the problem was that the star was too into herself--wardrobe and hairdos. I was commenting to my DH last night what a poorly planned show it is. The blond star (cannot remember her name) would decide that someone or some embassy was in grave danger of being killed/destroyed in the next five minutes. She needed to meet with the President immediately to get permission for a drone strike or whatever, and time was of the essence. So the next scene, she is meeting with the President, but she stopped to change clothes into another knock out ensemble and have her hair style changed. No way it was believable.

On the other hand, I love State of Affairs and Te Leone's acting.

We watch a lot of PBS and BBC.

I wanted to like State of Affairs, but DH and I turned it off in the first half hour of Episode #1.. To be honest, I thought it had already been cancelled. I sure wish we got more PBS shows.. We enjoy most of theirs.. I think we must be old codgers...if they start out with a hot bed scene in the first half hour, we realize it isn't gonna offer much....
