Grilling Pork Chops

I have 2 center cut 2 inch thick pork chops that I would like to try grilling. The total weight is 2.94 lbs.

I know I want to sear them, both sides, long enough to get nice grill marks, and then finish them off on indirect heat.

As you can imagine, these chops were pricey, very pricey. 15 bucks and a chunk of change.

I don't want to overcook them. I love my pork to be light, rosy pink.

I think I can get and maintain? the grill temp at 425?

I do not have an instant read thermometer.

Anybody regularly grill pork chops?
