Hi ladies what a nice day my niece came over & helped me plant 200 blubs that were given to me :))) from a friend of hers :)) HEHE couldn't pass them up . I know there are red ,pinks blues, yellows, tulips blue diamond, giuseppe verdi,orange cassini, Judith leyster, upstar, red emperor narcissi - golden ducat & crocus -dorthy . she new all the names but did not have them seperated :((( so I have no idea as what color is where :)) . Also just talked to jeanette tonight & she sent out daddys box saturday so he should have it by monday & I know it will make his day when it arrives :))) wow mellen it was only in the low 60's here but it was sunny :)) Sure hope tomorrow is the same . have my brother coming to mulch up the leaves for me :)) hope all is well with everyone :) have a great week susie

Thanks for the support! Dustin's eyes are dilating this morning so I'm relieved about that. He's eating both wet and dry food and using his litter box (though he was clawing at my closet door to get in before he did and I think he wanted to use it instead, lol). He's quieter now, not making his squeaky noises as much, is sharpening his claws on his new post (and the mattress but I'll let him get away with that for a couple of days) and seems more like himself. Except for the billing issue, which they were kind enough to help me out with, I've been very happy with the service there. Their treatment of Dustin and the attitudes seem great. I feel comfortable with them and will probably continue to go there. It was a stressful day but I felt comfortable leaving him in their care and seeing how they interact with him it seems that they have a genuine love of animals. My mother's vet and office staff are a bit more professional, don't talk as much to the animals (vet barely spoke to me) so I'll likely go back. I'm not quite sure the signs of a good vet/clinic but I think the way they interact with the pets is a sign of how he'll be treated when I'm not around and I watch how the vet handles Dustin and how she talks to him and this, I think, helps to calm Dustin and establish a connection with him. I plan to start putting money aside for rainy days/unexpected vet bills but my mother was with me when Dustin and I found each other and said she would help if any emergency vet trips were needed (she loves animals too) so even in my financial situation I know that I'll have some help caring for him if he ever got sick. Thanks again for the tips and reassurances that Dustin's recovering normally. Its one thing to read about how he might react in a general pamphlet they send you home with but each pet will respond differently and its great that people can share their experiences to help ease the minds of others. I'm very happy to have found this site!

Dana- I didn't even have to ask, as soon as my hubby got home he told me to go take a nap and he'd get dinner started...He's such a sweetheart...I needed the rest, it really helped. Psych says that she is having a hard time with her dad's recent appearance and "disappearance".He was gone for 2 years and then came back, took me to court for visitation then agreed to going to therapy with her to rebuild the "trust".Until his fiancé' called me one day and informed me that they "couldn't afford the sessions anymore because she was pregnant with his child, and she had 2 kids of her own who depended on his income as well".So basically he ended the therapy, and told me he wasn't doing it anymore...The therapist then told him that he would have to go back to court then because she would not agree to him taking my daughter without completing the therapy he had agreed to in the first place. His response to that? He took off again-so we haven't heard from him in over 2 months now. Needless to say my daughter is heartbroken, and keeps his picture by her nightstand. She gazes at it every night until she falls asleep. I don't know who is hurting more-me watching her suffer, helpless to make the pain go away, or her.... I am planning to spend some time with her tomorrow,I know she wants me to spend some one on one time with her-she asked me to play with her earlier but I told her I couldn't because my tooth was hurting. Thanks for so much for your suggestion!!! I took the double over the counter IBU and some warm salt water rinses which really helped, so for now IÂm ok. Its a dull ache on the top left right side molar. Yes there was a big filling, which fell out when I was eating a barbecued corn on the cob last night. It only hurts when I bite down-so I am just avoiding that side altogether. Honestly, I haven't been to see the dentist in over 3 years.I know i have to go,i just never get around to going-(my mom reminds me every time she comes over)Since she knows i have this horrible fear of going...when I was 7, my dentist had to do an extraction and he told me that it might leave a hole in my cheek!(just out of curiosity,is that even possible?)Well i swear I didn't sleep for the entire week before the appt. I cried and begged my mom not to make me go almost every night. The day of the appt my mom had to literally "drag me out of the car" into the office...It was all really traumatizing. Ever since that, IÂve been afraid of going. When I have gone, I've felt like I was 7 all over again. Thanks again=) Dcubana

Sorry you had a stinker of a day. I remember the day we went from having four cars to having one car in one day! Fortunately all due to breakdowns, not accidents, so you have to count your blessings. By the time I got a call that #3 had broken down, there was nothing left to do but laugh.
