Fun with pets

It never ends. I noticed a bad smell in my bedroom, found it coming from the rear end of my dog Molly. She had a huge mass of feces stuck in the fur of her back end. Poor thing couldn't even "go" outside. I tried to clea her myself but only spread the mess, , so I took her to the groomer. The groomer said she could clean her but she might have an "impaction" or abcess inside. That would require a vet! A couple of hours later, Molly came home looking fine. Clean everywhere, butt looking pink and normal. I gave her a meal of canned dog food mixed with cooked rice and chicken. (I've used this often whenever a dog has gut problems, diarrhea, etc). A few hours later she had a normal bowel movement outside. Today, day, she's acting fine.

I "oiled" my butcher block counter in the kitchen. Applied a liberal amount of oil and left it. The bottle of oil says to leave it 4 to 6 hours to soak in. Problem is, one of my kitties decided to jump up on the counter. She apparently didn't like it. She ran off, leaving a trail of oily pawprints. Today she's acting mad at me, won't even come in the kitchen. So I fed her breakfast in the dining room. I'm sure she'll "get over it" by the time her next meal is due.
