I haven't decided for sure but I think it will be home made cheeseburgers. I got some patties that have cheese and stuff mixed in with the meat, they are very good. I am tired and really hope he will cook them on the grill.

Poor Mans Hamburger (on bread) w/Fries

Chicken fried steak, tossed salad, potato salad and fried potatoes. Beautiful, warm, sunny day here.

So many good meals listed already. I was very busy today so shoved a Stouffer's fish w/macaroni and cheese in the microwave. Had peas as a vegetable.

I had a ham, cheese, tomato and lettuce with mayo sandwich. Had some chips with it and some jelly beans for dessert. Im really going to have to cook a decent meal tomorrow.

My supper was simple, eggs fried in with some fried potatoes, some fried bacon, and dessert was a piece of the apple raisin pie I baked today. Weather has been over cast today with some rain at times. It did make it up to 70 though at one point.

Raven, cheeseburgers are always welcomed here! I've heard of stuffing a cube of cheese in the center of the burger but I never have. I must do that next time.

Sue, apple pie is my hands-down favourite dessert. Your mention of it sure gave me a craving for it.

The weather here today was similar to yours, jasdip. We decided to go to the famous local seasonal 'dive' which opened for the season yesterday... a family business since 1938, I think. It's just a little shack with minimal cooking facilities (bbq sandwiches, hamburgs, hotdogs, fries) where you stand outdoors in line to order. They also have an ice cream side, but it's not open yet. You can do take-out or eat outdoors on picnic tables. It's near a busy intersection so always noisy, but the food is good and super cheap, so it's always busy. Totally tacky and totally fun. You'll see everything from tattooed grandmas on motorcycles to vice presidents in suits all standing in that line together, and today the lines were the longest I've ever seen!

I chose a pork sandwich w/ bbq sauce, dill pickles, hot relish on the side (they make their own and it's really good) and fries. Totally happy here. :O)

We have already decided it is a leftover night: choices include lasagna, chicken, smoked ham, bacon and hamburger patties.

We had salmon patties with a creamy dill and caper sauce. I made cole slaw, too. Robert had his patty on a crunchy toasted bun.
