Socks -- We have library cards for Maui. However, the library there are stuck 'somewhere back in time'. LOL I found a more current collection of books at the Salvation Army store in Kihei! We are very spoiled with the collection of DVD's at our hometown library. Norar -- We've enjoyed all the "Touch of Frost" episodes -- along with most of the things I see on the Netfix 'menu'. What's new there is old to us. Maybe we'll try Redbox during January and February. All suggestions for our 'tropical teatimes' greatly appreciated!

We just got all caught up with The 100. (my sister was killed in season one..... ;( ). Another good series is The 4400. Kinda reminds me of Heroes, but not. We're finally catching up on Breaking Bad. I think we're finally on season 3. And I have to get back to watching Life on Mars. I wish we had the British series. I watched a few episodes that my sister downloaded and loved it. The American version good too, but I prefer the British one.

If you have Amazon Prime, don't miss Sneaky Pete. It's 10 episodes and will definitely have another season. Brian Cranston is a producer and is one of the stars along with Giovanni Ribsi. We watched Whiplash last night. I thought it was a slow start and intense, but incredibly well done. Lion was fabulous! Passengers is really good too. I'm not a fan of Sci-Fi, but DH saw it on a flight and ordered it from Netflix so that I could see it. If you haven't seen the Crown or FEUD, they're good too!

sornbarry - After speaking with our local SZ repair guy, he suggested that we spring for the new unit, as apparently it's not the parts on the old SZs but the box itself that begins to deteriorate around the 25+ year mark. Not to mention that the cabinets for our older model would be completely different from the cabinets used to create the integrated look and there'd be no way to retrofit the unit once it died. <Sigh> Not that we were looking to spend the extra cash, but I am a strong believer in doing things right the first time (especially seeing as we have no plans to move anytime soon). You're right about the Superba, and I've only recently discovered its convection properties, which I love. The Superba also got us out of quite the jam last Christmas when the Dacor straight up stopped working partway through cooking our prime rib roast, and it was the Superba that picked up the slack. Most of the negative reviews I've read about the Superba have to do with self-cleaning mode, which I don't like using in ovens anyways. Needless to say, I think we're okay having it stick around a while longer - it's certainly a lot easier to change out than a Sub Zero! Thanks again for all of your thoughts and comments. I really appreciate being able to bounce ideas off of someone who has been in such a remarkably similar situation as my own!
