Electric Water Heater Problem

I have an electric water heater; about a month ago I noticed the
hot water in the shower was not staying hot. It progressively became worst. Now
when I take a shower I just run the hot water faucet only and the water is luke
warm. My water use to be extremely hot. I checked the hot water in the kitchen
and bathroom sink and same thing there, the hot water is not has hot as it used
to be and does not stay hot. I had the plumber come out and he checked the
elements said they were fine and turned up the temperature. Still no change. We
then changed out the thermostats, elements and pipe on top (not sure what it
called) but he assured me it needed to be replaced. Also of course emptied the
tank and found no mineral deposits. -- Still no change in the shower, it’s a little
bit hotter, but again I’m still only running the hot water faucet only. Oh the
hot water in the kitchen was little bit hotter but not like it used to be. And
sink in bathroom no hot water just luke warm.

I
don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?
