Did anybody else get the "free shipping" email from Edmunds?

I got an email from Edmunds about the "final four day of free shipping" and to take advantage before Fed 17. They didn't specify if it was a certain dollar amount, or certain amount of roses that had to be purchased to be eligible. Well, I went to place an order and no free shipping. No discount code in the email and nothing about it on their website. It's not like I need any more roses (haha) but I wanted to replace my dead ADOLPH HORSTMANN and wanted to add the climber RASPBERRY CREAM TWIRL. Figured it would be worth it for free shipping. But guess I'll have to pass since the shipping didn't get taken out automatically, and no code to do so. Don't understand why they'd send out an email like that and then not give the free shipping. Oh well.

Try and contact them as see what they say. I haven't been on there lately but if they have free shipping it would be worth a look see.

When I order from them my order is usually over $100 bucks so my shipping is free. This year it was REALLY free.

We've not enjoyed the show on tv so much in ages, made me think once again how great it'd be to have more entertaining and little less competition, to bring best of Idols and have some extra fun for everyone. No matter, all are winners, except me and especially my daughter, will be listening to Katherine and my younger daughter to Chris (her forever Idol). I think Taylor got the votes for being a friendly country guy -if the show was about congeniality he'd get my votes, he had fun and made us join in the fun, appearing more self-confident- a few years older helps, even if he was at times comical with his dances-we can all use more fun. It reminded us of the times when the "She Bangs" guy was picked as the winner on line, lol. We're fine with the fact Katherine took the 2nd place- it's almost or as grand as the top. beekeeperswife,you asked to see my dining room light, here it is, the light was all beige, and not in keeping with my decor, but I knew I could change all of that, the parts still in beige sort of are faux stone, and very heavy like real stone, the rods are iron, and the shades are metal, I did all the hand painting, and did my faux rose quartz finish on the shades.. and it is perfect for my diningroom, as I knew it would be when I ordered it! it was a bear to hang for dh & I as it is extremely heavy! But well worth $80.00 on sale from $400.oo and Free shipping.

Hi there! Just checking out this site. I usually post on the garden junk site, but your email really hit home! I know exactly what you mean about feeling so inadequate sometimes. I've had two hand surgeries and have arthritis in both hands, so I can SO relate! Fortunately, my DH is a whiz, so he is able to help me when I get stuck, but you might want to try hitting a small hardware store if there is one in your area. Sometimes the sales guys there are a wealth of knowledge and are also willing to help out with welding, etc. I know that when my husband worked at a hardware store, he was forever bringing home stuff that ladies would bring into the store. He painted, welded, cleaned, and even designed stuff for them. Just a thought. He always loved to help them out--mainly because he knew how much I loved my garden stuff, so he was a sucker for ladies who needed the extra help!

I always like to take advantage of the free shipping from Edmunds, I think the free shipping is for orders of $100 or more. I got a little carried away and ended up ordering 15 roses from them. My excuse is, I want lots of roses for bouquets! I received that email too, but I am not ordering any more. I don't think it would hurt to call and find out about the free shipping though.

Those sound great Ken! I just started a thread about wanting so many different roses! I ordered one each of White Licorice, Sugar Moon, Michelangelo, Sheila's Perfume (I love it and I'm not sure the one I have is going to make it), Memorial Day, Cinnamon Dolce, Angel Face, Colorific, Grande Amore, Marijke Koopman, Grande Dame, Heirloom, Paradise, Melodee Parfumme and Moonstone.
