Yeah, not pleased with the colors, or lack there of. If I wanted stark white, I would just stay on Office and get the books done.

IF you use Firefox you can install the No Squint add on and change the background color. Mine is pink.

I was very tired of the blue morning glories in the middle of winter, but at least it was something colorful……….

If you head over to the decoration forum, there are and have been many posts talking about color and how to use it as people decorate their new homes. Many of us have good ideas about color. perhaps suggestions offered could be used to create a site made for and by us.

Just by chance, I still had a window open with the Quilting forum. Looking back and forth between the new look and the old, my wish would be for at least a colored frame or background (which was adjustable by using ctrl and +/-). A little color would improve the overall feel. (Now worried that houzz will go from one extreme to the other.) I tried to add a screenshot, but it doesn't appear to allow that. Either that, or when I post this, we'll see it 4 or more times!!

Once people start adding pictures to threads and their user names it will add a lot of color to the forum. The photo threads are already lovely.

Give them time they appear to be listening to us and have already made some changes to what was originally here.

I think it would be a good idea to start one new thread titled Houzz - things we would like please and put all of our Reasonable requests in one place. They are checking the forums and making changes that were asked for. It would make it easier for everyone.

I can do that if y'all will add to it.

I just went ahead and did that but I guess it must take a few minutes to show up a new thread? This was my first time. Does it show up instantly or take a few minutes those who have already started threads?

I just added a thread with details on how to add a little more color to the forum with photos. Where the red box is allows you to display the posts in different ways.

Just shades of gray which I wish they would make at least black.

Let's get the peeps over in the Decorating forum to name this shade of gray. Gray is THE design color these days, apparently, for paint, furniture, bedding, everything. Seems like sublime names makes gray more interesting.

I have to laugh, because I almost called it that and agree with Rhizo that the name needs to be changed.
