Do you mean other GardenWeb forums, or other sites entirely?

During the gardening season I check in at lots of GardenWeb gardening forums, and throughout the year I might visit various home-related GW forums depending on what I need advice on.

Outside of GW, I visit a rug hooking forum from time to time. I used to belong to an excellent writers' forum, but it changed hands and went downhill.

Better Homes and Gardens has forums. It's not a busy as it is here. Before Facebook, it was a lot busier than this place.

Back in the day there used to be a few other forums like the KT in fact gals posted on 2 or more. I have not been cruising the forums for years and was just wondering if there were any fun ones out there still???

Nothing specific forums just like this??

Since I live in Oklahoma, I check the Oklahoma gardening forum. I also read at the cooking forum as I have time,and sometimes the knitting forum.

But I read the KT several times a day. :)

i go to hgtv...but click on the forum line at the top of this page...lots of things from decorating to cooking...and in between...

A bunch of sites that pertain to work, different GW sites and gardening sites, news sites, movie sites, Facebook...hmmmm, a lot of sites. LOL

As y'all may know, I fly a LOT and I am so tired of dealing with "Security Theater" showing every day at all American airports, and performed by those lovable loonies at the TSA.

I can hardly wait to tune in each day and see what crazy antics those government agents will be up to next...

Lunchlady, I think it will depend on your interests. I sometimes go to diet forums, a Branson MO forum and a after-death communications forum. This is the only forum I regularly post at though.

After checking my email, I start my computer surfing day at Computer Help. I scan those posts to see if there are any bugs that we need to know about, and by reading some of the topics, I will know what to do if I need to deal with them. Lots of good info there. And of course, I've posted several questions re problems I've had, which they have given me help with. Couldn't keep this PC going without them.

Then I come here to the KT to see what is going on with the KTers. May or may not reply to any. When I take a break during the day, I often come back to see what new topics have come up.

I sometimes go to the Antiques Forum, or one of the specific gardening forums.

Once in a while I like to go to Hot Topics to get different slants on the way people are thinking about what is going on in our country. Better than listening to the Talking Heads on TV.

That is enough time on the computer for me. I don't frequent any other sites similar to the KT.

I am on many many forums, I participate on several pc help and support forums like the computer help forum here at GW, do the same at a bunch of others. I enjoy volunteering my time and hope that I can help some one, the whole pay it forward is why I do what I do. I had some great people help me along the way and it is the least I can do to try to pay it on and help others. I may not have the same name on all of them but they are all pretty much dealing with computer help in some way.
I have been admin on several forums also and I do participate on some linux forums since I mainly use linux these days instead of windows.

I also like a few recipe forums and some health related forums for some of my conditions including diabetes. I am on one now that is focused on the Pandigital Novel ereader/tablet since I own one I am interested in that forum.
I generally do not do general talk forums, I used to, but have seen so many get really ugly and seeing adults become bullies like the kids on the playground is enough to turn my stomach LOL so not so much of that these days, when I see that starting I walk away, life is just way too short for that kind of negativity.

No, someone invited me to check out another talk forum, when things were getting nasty here, and I did, but found it was worst than here, in the KT's worst day.I even recognized some from here, but it came across as clicky and nasty. I'll sty with KT, 98% of the people here are kind, nice and pleasant.

Oh, yes, the KT is my real home, although I do go to another one, too. On Garden Web, I go to Garden Junk, Container Gardening, Minnesota Gardening, the Book forum, and to my life saver, Computer Help.

Besides KT, in summer I go to Daylily forum, Photography, and Garden Junk, here on GW. Also a dog forum, HomeTalkEntertainment forum, plus my scrabble and solitaire, and bookworm.

I browse through several GW forums but mostly the KT as I have been here forever. That bookworm had me hooked as no game has ever before....and the bubble one. Cooking forum is another favorite, as well as antiques and holiday. Too much time on my hands, right? Nanny

Yes, several. Mainly Dave's Garden. It has an annual fee, but so darn worth it!!! Several others, but Dave's garden is my very favorite.

You need to register, and then you can sort by city, topic, etc, or search for any subject. They seem pretty friendly most of the time.

I go to a travel professional board, the Diabetes forum and a couple of low carb boards to find new ideas and recipes. Oh and Dr. Bernstein's.

I found GardenWeb when we were building our house. I check in on the "Building A House" forum, "Buying and Selling Homes", "Remodeling", and "Household Finances". (BTW, there's a current thread on "Finances" that some readers here might find interesting -- a 43 year old man asking how to split expenses with his younger girlfriend, who is 'moving in'.)

I'm a regular on the TripAdvisor "Hawaii" forums. Always fun to 'talk Maui'!

I like the cooking forums ....I found this one www.justapinch.com.and Garden Webs cooking forums, KT, American Test Kitchen. As for computer information... I love the Computer Forum here and also Worldstart.com...great computer helpers...I learn so much from them. I like Facebook too. Enjoy your retirement...My DH and I are retired and love it...not enough hours in the day for us....we are always doing something...travel, gardening, computing, golf, tennis, biking, and our three grandchildren...LOL....I could on and on...I thank my blessings...keep busy...

go to top and hit FORUMS then That Home Site and scan it has a lot of great craft forums and others some are a little dormant lately but need a good poster to perk them up. Also Circle Theater we play som games there On the conversation side of the Computer forum there is a game to play too
