Another suggestion earlier was that, to get away from the easy ride in the early part of the year ... but a rather heavy load toward the end, that one put the numbers from 1 to 52 into a hat, pull out a number each week, and deposit that number of dollars into the Christmas savings account at that time. Good idea to save a little more weekly, to build a cushion that could ease the load in the heavy weeks. It could help to get an emergency fund started, as well. ole joyful
