W. Women in Italian Design
What: Design exhibition
Where: Triennale Design Museum, Milan
When: Through February 19, 2017
Cost: 15 euros (about $17)
A celebration of Italian design and the creative women behind it has come to Milan. The exhibition traces a new history of Italian design from the female point of view, reconstructing the figures, theories and approaches to design that were sown in the 20th century and that have taken hold, transformed and evolved in the 21st century. The idea that gender is no longer just a biological fact, but rather a cultural idea, opens up interesting perspectives for what design is and might become. More info ♦︎
