loves2cook4six - ? about your pull-out cutting board

loves2cook4six, I just found the images of your cutting board that you posted in the thread below. I love the idea of using a drawer kicker to pop the cutting board out! I'd love to know how it's working nearly 6 years after you posted the image. Any issues with it? Any advice for me?

Here's my inspiration pic for my cutting board:

Traditional Kitchen by Boston Kitchen & Bath Designers Jewett Farms + Co.

Our cabs are full overlay but otherwise, the end result will be much the same as this image: walnut cutting board in blue-gray stained cabs. Our cab designer spec'd the board at 1" thick, extending 3/4" out from the cab face (IOW, even with drawer fronts) with 3/4" clearance above and below it. I'm a bit concerned that that's not quite enough finger room for DH and DS2. We could extend the cutting board farther from the cab face, either straight across or curved, as our current cutting board is. We could also add a pull to it. But honestly, the solution I like best, both from an aesthetics and function point of view, is a drawer kicker like yours so I'm hoping that it is still working well for you.

TIA!
