I went down to the park this afternoon, get some snow shoeing in. As I was heading down the hill road, there was a huge bird perched on the edge of the cliff. Too big for a raven. As I got closer it took flight.

A Golden Eagle! In February! That is way to early to see one in these parts, They don't usually fly through here until the end of March/first of April.

Early, early spring, perhaps?
