Sagae and friends
Comments (9)Those were sweet Williams. I have them in my front yard and they kind of went crazy this year. Being bi annuals , when they finished blooming and the seed pods formed, I bent them over back into the clumps and maybe should have took a bunch out because they are crowding the hosta . I have two friends that would like some pieces , Myrle as in one of them. They smell good too! It is my husband's first name but .. I won't go there lol...See MoreAnother saga : pecan tree aphids ... Comments (7)I haven't been on the forum for quite a while and come back to find a thread that's quite useful to me~~i've had what i've been calling an infestation of wasps(paper???)on a Live Oak this weekend. There must be aphids also, as when I left my car in the drive when I came back from San Antonio this weekend, and went back out to it a couple of hours later, it looked to have a slight sticky spray of some sort all over it, out door light fixtures also. I'm assuming it's the aphids all of you are talking about?? I haven't had a 'close inspection' of the tree because of the wasps, but should I leave both the wasps and the aphids, and let nature take it's course since the wasps use the aphids as larva food? This is all so very enlightening. Thanks roselee! ;o)...See MoreSo.....Candy Crush Saga, Anyone?
Comments (56)I got past 35! But now stuck of 56 which is the split screen with the chocolates and black screened jellys. I can't seem to get to the bottom level and when I do miraculously I can't keep back the growing chocolates. It makes me crazy how slow the game is to clear so I can click on something, but meanwhile the chocolates keep invadingâ¦. I think I need a striped one and a dotted chocolate, but those are so hard to get in the small upper area! Hate this gameâ¦.....See MoreLarge hosta - which is better Sagae or Sum and Substance
Comments (12)I must not had my coffee that day. When I check the yard again, I realized the tree is in the yard and not the neighbor's property. To make things worse, it appears to be a hard maple. I talked with the owner, who indicated that the tree was unintended and will probably be cut down at some point. As for Lilies of the valley, I do not think they are good companion plants. The owners have a really large silver maple. It's so thirsty and the foliage so dense that it kills the grass in the area. The owners have planted some LOV, which proceeded to take over every spot underneath the maple tree. It would have taken over the lawn if there weren't stones blocking their advance. There is even some that's growing in full sun, so LOV will be remove at the other site. Paul...See Morejakkom
