what windows operating system are you using? and by windows security are you talking about the security center in your control panel where you can check to see if the firewall is turned on and if your antivirus is on? Windows xp does not provide any antivirus it does have a firewall but not the best it is generally a good idea to get some other firewall set up, for antivirus you can get free ones like AVAST to put on the pc. let us know if you have xp or vista.

If you get thoroughly fed up, try this. Various editions of Word have a problem with carriage returns, so to speak, and both Outlook and webmail. Open your document, hit ctrl-H, and replace paragraph marks (^p) with line returns (^l). Now send it to yourself and see if it fixes the formatting. This is not an OS problem, it's Word's. I do agree, however, that a resume is a document in itself and should be sent as a formatted attachment.

Not me. If I want to save anything I do as Moni does. I use wordpad because it's such a smaller program than word and opens quickly. I use IE and IESpell to check my spelling here before hitting the submit button.
