I really love some of those wallpaper scenes but I have been using one of my own photos depending on the season - gardens in the summer, fall decorating in the fall, Christmas tree, cats - whatever strikes my mood. I also have my photos set up to do a random slide show as a screen saver ..... Lynne

The Freeware Wallpaper Clock client for Windows for the clocks, their free version. Vlad studios is always doing some really great and creative stuff, it is one of my fave sites to visit and spend some time on. Yes just look for the view more wallpaper or browse wallpapers, some sites will sort them out for you in the specific size for your monitor resolution, alphacoders does that which is a nice feature. I see that Vlad now has that feature too. I have been at Vlad today and found so many new ones to add to my wallpapers folder, such creative work there.

I tend to change as the mood strikes, usually once or twice a year. I have on that I like to use at Christmastime and other times, whatever I like to see. Ships, weather, nature are usually popular topics for me. Currently, I'm using the Arthur Anderson. One of the Great Lakes freighters and was the ship accompanying the Edmund Fitzgerald when the big Fitz went down. The Anderson was a matter of miles behind the Fitz so the history is interesting to me. I enjoy going to Duluth and watching the ships. Physics fascinates me. That tons of steel can float or fly is interesting to me.

My kitchen was wallpapered for over 21 years (probably much longer), and it was not vinyl composition that I could see when I pulled it off. I was able to wash it (gently!) repeatedly over the years. It still looked pretty good when I pulled it off -- but it had a medium blue background that probably hid stains if there were any. You need to be sure that the paper is labeled as "washable".
