After the egg hunt on Easter Sunday, the young farm boy decided to play a prank. He went to the chicken coop and replaced every single egg with a brightly colored one.

A few minutes later the rooster walked in, saw all the colored eggs, then stormed outside and beat up the peacock!

It's a very hot one here!!! Carrie, not to minimize your heat but do y'all have the humidity we do? Seriously, what is the average for y'all during the hot months.
I think our high is supposed to be 96 and the humidity according to my truck when we were out was 65%, lower in Austin

This was a very busy day and the 92 degrees kind of made the chocolate bunnys go soft but it was nice to be with family.

I sat around with the old f*rts from my family(born to older parents). Had a good time just sitting& yapping in the air conditioned house. Boys had an Easter egg hunt in the house! PJ

Hi, all. I'm back from my sister's house. Thanks for the offers, but no, one sister is definately enough. I've got to go back and help her out some more in the coming weeks. Her DH has already moved and started working in their new town, Siloam Springs, Ark., her kids have all grown up and moved away, so she's left by herself to pack up a huge house full of stuff. Plus, she's working part time, too. She needs all the help she can get. They can't even think about putting up the house till we get a lot of the stuff cleared out.

Of course a vegetarian can pig out! I definately ate like a pig. I had to roll home last night. :-)

How close *did* she live to you ?

She lives just a little over an hour east of me in Sulphur Springs. She's got bunches of irises, and I'm hoping to get some of them from her, plus some other perennials. I also got her chipper shredder. Wooo hoooo! I've wanted one of those for years.
