We are having pork chops smothered in mushroom soup, loaded mashed potatoes and kale via Snidely's Recipe

Mine was lasagna and a piece of bread.

Can't wait for the warmup at end of wk here in OH. I hope it melts all of the snow/ice and lets me have a couple of days at least where I can get out and about on my own.

Smoked chicken salad and crackers!

Had 4 of the little meatloaves left from yesterday. Heated them up along with the rest of the mashed sweet and yellow potatoes, and some creamed corn.

I have an apple crostata in the oven now, and the oven just beeped. Yum, I can't wait.

So once Kamren got in the mommy mobile..he said can you make a pasta casserole instead.. Why yes, yes I can.

Yup, I went out!

We will probably have pork fried rice or Japanese noodles with vegetables and pork. Depends on how much rice I have left over.
And a green salad.
It was 80 degrees here today. Short sleeve weather!!!

Cream of potato soup made with chopped celery, onion, and a little bit of carrot cooked in some chicken stock with the potatoes. Butter and half&half added at the end.

I sprinkled some crispy bacon and chopped green onion on top. Man, did it ever hit the spot!

Carol...I am very jealous of your weather..all though it doesn't surprise me..it was quite spring like here. Pork for you too huh?

Last night DH grilled two flank steaks that I marinated with a mesquite rub. Tonight we made sandwiches with the left overs. I made carmelized onion jam that I topped them with, along with a garlic aioli spread. Lots of different flavors going on, but really tasty.

Matti, that sounds good. do you have a recipe for the onion jam?

Raven, when alone no dishes is obvious..no shame in just a sandwich.

I ate way to many mouthfuls of pasta! I also had salad..

Baking Bourbon, Brown Butter Vanilla Bean Shortbread...dishwasher is already running..kinda like this baking and the dishes are already done..think I should do refrigerator cookies more often and tuck it in the fridge and/or freezer!
