What;s for dinner Monday?

I have to type fast--we're having on big thunderstorm and I need to unplug the computer. But I have ribs in the oven and we'll have the leftover bacon wrapped potatoes I made the other night, broccoli, fresh strawberries and the rest of the lemon cake.

I am not too hungry this evening so I just had a pint of milk and a cookie. Your supper sounds good Patti. Still sunny here in central Indiana.

Homemade chicken noodle soup since we both have rotten colds. And some chicken salad if anyone feels like eating real food.

Colds are the pits!

Glenda, that's a lot of food, but with all 12 bringing a dish it doesn't take long to fill up a buffet. I'm surprised there were no desserts! Raven, everything sounds delicious. We ended up having sliced avocados last night because the mangoes weren't quite ready. Way to go, Jasdip. You're making space in the frig for more of your good cooking! Shirley, I looked for green beans in the grocery today and they were awful looking. I wanted green beans and red potatoes so bad!! Yep, I think we all love our leftovers and most of the time I think they taste better on day 2 (or 3).

I can't eat sour cream. Otherwise that looks very good. Guess I'd just have to 'force' myself to just have one of your sandwiches. My main meal today was lunch with my sisters at the Home where my special needs sister lives. It was my turn to bring the food for her. I got us a 6 pc chicken strip basket from Dairy Queen and we shared it. She loves chicken. Shirley

Sue you are always so busy, running around. You must have a great time with the girls. Mary, I haven't had chicken and dumplings since my Nan died, decades ago. She made the lightest fluffiest, dumplings. I just bought a another second-hand slow-cooker on the weekend and we used it for chicken as well. I'm thrilled with it. GM, I love meat and cheese with salads. Rhizo, we like breaded and fried eggplant. Zucchini would be just as good!

I still say I'd like to be able to travel through cyber space so I could stop at each of your places to at least get a nibble of your evening meals.

I had leftover pork/kraut/potatoes. For 'dessert', I had a Russell Stovers sugarfree caramel.

Pork chops with mushroom gravy, buttered bread, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes and roasted asparagus.

A chicken casserole that wasn't all that good. Thank heavens, it was one of those serving only two, so I don't have to worry about freezing any of it.

Oven baked tilapia with lemon pepper seasoning and buttered cracker crumb topping, little redskin potatoes cooked unitl just tender, drained, with butter, chives and a bit of lemon juice and steamed asparagus. We rarely have dessert.
