I've seen a few episodes and liked it a lot. My daughter and her family watch it. My TV viewing is almost all Netflix streaming, so I'll have to catch up with it when it gets old. :-)

We like Modern Family. It's hysterical funny and, because there is no laugh track, you can decide what's amusing.

Didn't watch last night's episode yet. We DVR stuff and watch at our leisure.

Someone canceled my timer to tape a GUN SHOW!

I just love the show too. Can't decide which family I enjoy the most. You can tell the writers have their own families because it's all so normal, so human. Yet very funny because we can all identify with many of the issues.

If you like MF, you might also like The Middle. It's another one obviously with writers who are living family life.

Modern Family is my favorite comedy on TV. Absolutely love them all. Every character is gifted. Loved last night especially since I love Target.

I have seen it a few times and it's funny! I can never seem to remember what day it's on. I esp like the 2 gay guys (I can't remember their names). But I would never buy that Sofia Vergas would marry Al Bundy! Her son cracks me up. I've also seen "The Middle". I HATED the Everyone loves Raymond wife on Raymond, but on the Middle she is funny.

Yeah but since when does Target offer paper bags with nice handles?? :) I too look forward to Wed. nights. I love "The Middle" because it's pretty realistic, as sit-coms go. And MF is just plain funny, all the time. The blond mom irritates me a little, but I guess that's the point. "Gloria" is hilarious, especially when it comes to Lilly.

I love both programs too! Also enjoyed Cougar Town but it must be on hiatus. Other than those 3, I hardly ever watch a network show.

I don't know why I can't get into Modern Family. But I do like The Middle quite a bit. I think each character is well acted, especially the Patricia Heaton character and the three kids. I find myself whispering words under my breath at times like that strange kid Brick. . .!

I like it well enough but I think it must conflict with some other shows I dvr and I had to make a choice. It's not my favorite though. What I really love is Big Bang Theory.

I used to absolutely love Modern Family, this year I only like it, and I still enjoy it. I find the plots are getting diluted ; Gloria's exagerated accent is getting on my nerves.

I will definitely look into the Middle, I've never watched it.

I think Modern Family is the funniest show on TV. I love The Middle too. Especially Brick and Sue.

I love "Modern Family" and "The Middle". No one's mentioned "Suburgatory," about a father a teenaged daughter who move from Manhattan to the suburbs. I like that one a lot, too.

Marita, I agree about Patricia Heaton on the "Raymond" program. She's much better in Middle--it almost seems like she's not acting! Poor thing trying to sell used cars and manage with 3 kids and a run-down house! There must be millions of women who can identify with that. The kids are believable too, except Brick who is most unusual but fun. They are all very good actors IMHO.

Why wouldn't Sofia Vargas marry Al Bundy?? He's loaded. Yes, Manny is hilarious. I thought he was so funny when they went to Hawaii. He was trying to dress well for the flight to raise everyone's standards of travel dressing. He may stretch credibility as Brick does, but it's all fun viewing.

MF takes all award shows and rightly so because they have fantastic writers and the best cast on TV. There is NO one on that show who isn't brilliant. I love Gloria..and Manny. And Phil.
