I back up everything. I have a external drive. If anybody goes out of business, dump, die with all my photos I have backups. I do not see the cloud or any electronic storage as infallible. It is not a problem with my plants those plants will be there I can take another pic if it survives if it dies I don;t want a pic of it anyway. If it does not care about me and dies I am not saving a pic of that ungrateful plant. My family photos are dear to my heart. The family is backed up and hard copy is my road to safety.

I don't know about Photobucket specifically, but in general with those sites, you get logged in via your email address. So if you send some kind of "share" email invite to yourself, to your email, when you click on the link in your invite email, you will again login - because the site sees that you got there via your own email. And that email is on record at the site as "owner" with all the associated privileges. Also, when you are testing this, did you log out of Photobucket after you sent a test "share" invite email to yourself ? Because otherwise your cookies will tell the site that you re already logged in as "owner". Try sending a "share" invite to an email address that Photobucket doesn't know about or have on record for you, then log out of Photobucket, then check again with the "share email" that you sent to yourself. Half my albums are gone. THIs has happened before and they resored all of them. Now it has happened again, and I can't access the other few remaining albums to get their links. Thanks I am aware of the caps, but that is not the problem

Using Windows 7 & Firefox, I can't right click on a Flickr photo to copy the URL, but it's designed that way so that nobody else can either. It's supposed to prevent people from copying your photo without your permission (even though you could just use the Windows Snipping Tool or the PrtSc key to copy the image & save it to your computer for uploading). To copy the URL, click on the Flickr picture & click on the Share arrow. You'll have a number of size & format options to Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V into a .GW post. In the Share options, you can link your Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest account for easy sharing with those too. What got me using Flickr was my photo processing software, PaintShop Pro & ACDSee. Both have an Upload To Flickr feature. So it's easy to take the pictures, fix, tweak or tag them in the software, then upload to Flickr from the software.
