this was by far one of the best seasons of survivor. every tribal council i was on the edge of my seat. i must admit, i did root the entire time for bob. i was glad to see sugar make that final decision (tie), but wondered why she would want to go against him knowing that the jury cast a dark light over her. i was blown away by how many votes susie got. she survived, but was she really a player? if so, i must have winked during those times. the last immunity idol certainly saved her.

sugar is now flanked by the paparazzi? interesting.
corrine showed all her ugliness and randy? take a spoonful of sugar - what a sorry, bitter man he is.

is it just me or is it really no one's business what a winner does with their money? the (doctor) asking that question left me with a sour taste.

they all sure clean up nice, don't they? i can only imagine so many offers to shoot sugar will be rolling in.

what a great season and i'm sorry to see it end. the clips for the next season sure look like yet another fantastic location.

I was ecstatic with the ending, I was rooting for Bob the whole season. I'm so glad he practised with his fire making skills and I appreciate the fact that Sugar wanted him in the final three, he owes her a lot for that.

And I gathered from some of the things said last night that we really only get to see a very small amount of what went on at those camps, our opinions are based on a biased editing and won't necessarily jive with what someone there might think. For Marcus to mention that Sugar was not as well liked by the players as she was by the TV audience spoke volumes to me. To not get a single vote, wow, that was surprising. Men are usually quite obtuse about women but he led me to believe that Sugar is not all sweetness and light, that her emotional chaos was very wearing. I tried to count last night, I lost track after she cried 11 times in the 2 hour show. Geesh.

I was a little annoyed by her constant attention to appearance constantly coming up with new, handmade outfits, her painted lips and awareness of the camera. Maybe that comes from her modeling experience, but she seemed less natural to me than the other women there and more vain. But she made some smart decisions and some good choices, IMO, and I'm sure she'll do well for a while. I think she's married, she met a guy on a set or something and married him within 2 weeks, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe now she won't have to live in her car or at the mercy of friends.

Randy- I think he's pretending some to be as bitter as he wants to appear, he was holding back a lot of smiles and laughter. Not that I want to hang out with him, I think he's a jerk, but I also think he had some reason to be, people- skills are not his strong suit and he should have known it would be hard to get along with a bunch of peeps.

Ace. Oh, brother. Did you hear him say at the beginning how it was so hard to get along with people who are untravelled? What a snob. He is a nothing with a put-on accent. So he lived in the UK for 8 years. Big woo. My mother lived there until she was nearly 40, her accent is gone, she's not putting one on or enhancing it because she thinks it sounds "cool". His is just BAD. Even his own mother admits he doesn't have one when it's just family around. He's a fake.

I think Corrine will live to regret some of the things she said but I do think she meant every word. The bit about Susie's vocal cords was kind of funny. And when she lit into Sugar, I was shocked that that didn't make Sugar cry, instead it just made her flip Corrine off.

At least everyone was recognizable last night, no big changes, just cleaner and bit fattened up, that was good.

I thought it was a great ending.

I was happy that Bob won and I guess I was rooting for him but truthfully I was hoping Sugar would win the 100K vote. She did play a pretty darn good game and most of them didn't give her credit for having any brains and she manipulated that show as it approached the finale...I think there was a lot of jealousy toward her.

I was so happy Bob won!!!!! Susie just rode coattails, I never liked her from the beginning and I was cringing at every vote she got, hoping she would not win. I never liked Sugar either, not sure why but she rubbed me the wrong way.

I thought the same thing about Ace when he made that comment about having to live with people who were not well traveled. What an arrogant you know what.

I just love Charlie, he is so nice and happy and he had no problem getting along with everyone, including Randy and Corrine. I have no problem with Randy, not everyone is a people person or happy and chipper all the time, but I do feel sort of sad for him, he has very few friends. When they said he was an engineer I said I should have known....a very smart mind but lacking in people skills, I know an engineer like that.

DH and I thought this was the best season yet. Very suspenseful. We wanted Bob to win from the beginning, and were sitting on the edge of our seats after the votes for Susie. I can't imagine she could get any votes.

I wish they had given the $100,000 to Sugar since Bob won the million. Sugar really made the show more exciting--whether you like her or not. And we were so glad that she voted for Matty so there would be a tie.

I was glad Bob confronted Kenny about his "assassination" plan. That was good!

I've never been a fan of Sugars, BUT if she hadn't pulled some of the things she did -for- Bob, he'd have been gone way before there was a final three. For that reason, I'd like to see her rewarded. I was glad that the last spot of that final three was selected by having to win a fire challenge. Took away the 'game' aspect and put it in a 'skill' one. And apparently Bob paid attention to how things were done on previous Survivors. All in all, it was a good show.

I was thrilled that Bob won, but would have liked to see Sugar get the $100,000. Bob wouldn't have been in the final three if not for Sugar, I think he owes her big time.

Corrine is an awful person, I can't believe she was upset that the show did not portray her in a more negative light. I'd hate to see what was on the cutting room floor.

Randy has a good act going, I don't believe he is as bitter as he says he is. It's obvious that he wants to laugh/smile, but really works hard at supressing it.

I think this season was the best so far.

I was glad Bob won. I think Susie was a deserving second place. Susie gets dogged for riding coattails, but middle age/older females generally don't do well in this game. They aren't physical and usually they don't get much resect from the youngsters. Slow and steady gets it. She was useful around camp. She won two immunity challenges. I wouldn't have been upset if she won because she did what it took to stay in the game. She was a little annoying, but not really mean like some of the others.

That tribal council was one of the worst I've seen. I didn't expect that many people other than Randy and Corrine to be so bitter. Crystal redeemed herself. She had a lot of graciousness and just admitted she sucked. I really figure out what was up with Charlie and his cuddling. I liked him better before that. I'd expect Marcus to be more gracious.

I was reading some stuff about Charlie, Marcus, and Corrine coordinatng outfits for tribal council. I started watching for it last night. That was too funny.

Another that could not believe Corrine, she's really a pitiful person, and so is Randy, or they appear to be. They are made for one another.

My big question is...if Randy had survived until family memembers came to visit, who would he have had visit him? His dog? It appears he was hurt badly by a women, since he said his dog was his bestfriend because he never cheated or lied to him. No family members in the audience for him?? I kinda felt bad for him.
Susie-doesn't let the subject drop. I understand why Bob got short with her. Shut up already. I wonder why Matty never voted for Susie. Is it because of the answer she gave him at the last tribal council saying that she had Bob's back??
All in all, I'm glad Bob won.

So exciting! I was so happy, Bob won and he indeed does owe Sugar big time...I was kind of hoping that when they announced the winner for the $100,000, he would have given it to Sugar or maybe split it between her and Matty....
I feel sorry for Randy and Corrine...Whether it's an act or not, those 2 need help....
Can't wait for the next one and let's hope it's as good as this one...
Now, what do I watch on Thursday night????

Randy's dog is dead. Has been for a while, years I think. He's talking about getting a new one.

I wonder if there is a rule that says you can't share your winnings, at least on publicly on television. Otherwise I think you'd see more people doing that.

And the votes were already in for who would get the extra $100K before the winner was announced. I would have voted it to Bob because I really thought that Matty or Sugar was going to win the million, my choice of a winner hardly ever really wins!

I agree with so many of the comments already made here:
- Thrilled that Bob won.
- Sorry Sugar didn't get the $100,000. (Although I'm glad Bob and others pointed out how badly she behaved after Randy was voted out.) I liked Sugar and thought she played a great game. Too bad her answers at the end were so lame or she might have received some votes.
- Susie seems like a nice person but she didn't deserve to be in the final 3.
- A bit sad for Randy that he's so bitter.
- Amazed there was so much anger amoung the jury. Did they all forget this is a game and someone is supposed to beat everyone else?
- Disappointed that Matty turned out to be one of the angry people. His (lack of) character really showed in the end.

I'm always sad when the series ends and can hardly wait for the next one. South America should make for an exciting and beautiful setting. As long as Jeff keeps coming back I'll be happy!

Did you hear that a contestant died while doing the Italian version of Survivor?

Did you all watch the Ponderosa episodes online? I'm thinking there was some hanky panky between Charlie and Marcus.
Not that there's anything wrong with that...to quote an old Seinfeld episode... :-)

I watched one or two, they don't play well on my computer for some reason. I don't know about hanky panky but last night in one little flashback, it looked like Marcus kissed Charlie on the shoulder. Charlie idolized Marcus so much, I'm sure Marcus was flattered by it and enjoyed it. How much, I don't really know.

I thought Charlie's question to Bob was kind of out of line, as if he was trying to "out" Bob for some reason.
