The high for today is supposed to be 50Âº with 40% chance of rain until early tomorrow morning. Tomorrow it is supposed to be in the high 40's with rain starting again in the evening. Not complaining as we really need the rain.

It's up to the organizers of Seedy Saturdays to be vigilant in maintaining public seed trading as the corner stone of these events. Otherwise Retail will take over and completely push out public trading altogether. When that happens the bigger retailers push out the smaller ones and at the end all you have left is a Wal-Mart. Greta, if you are an organizer don't lose sight of the real reason behind Seedy Saturdays, Diversity and public participation. Looks like they already have become too commercial as it is. Paul bought the Admiral washer and dryer set for the house when he was working for Walker Boy Appliances as a delivery driver and that was before he got married and he got married in 1984 so both appliances are at least 25 years old. The dryer was our first ever dryer. LOL I did so much laundry (clothes and bedding daily)the years I cared for my Mom, after she died the hydro company called and asked if something was wrong since I was suddenly using so little water and hydro. I can get by without a dryer but not without my washing machine. Anne

in the 30's and freezing mix coming down. Oh joy! LOL, but at least, it is moisture, and we need that.

Just going someplace might be put on hold, as getting crashed in to is not on my agenda... and peeps here just don't drive safe in icy conditions.

About the same as Moni's. Snow sleet/ice is to start around 9:00. DGD's dancing at a nursing home at 1:00. I'll be missing that one.

Warmer today - high of 38Âº - and fairly clear. Tomorrow snow, sleet, and freezing rain. Ugh.

A high of 41 degrees today, and tomorrow a high of 31 with snow/rain/sleet late in the afternoon into the night. Blech. Hopefully if it's really crummy the Supe will call a "code red" for Monday morning. Then the school district will be closed and I can stay home ;o)

Day before yesterday we got about 4 to 5 inches of snow...yesterday we got some sleet. Today it is starting to sleet we have a winty mix expected...that is supposed to hit Checotah like tuesday I was planning on heading home wednesday this weather is fixing to throw a kink into my driving plans I am afraid! Chilly and sunny in the NorthEast. It was 23 when I woke up at five a.m. , 43 by three oclock, and now at five pm it's down to 20. Brrrr!

Cold; as in below zero cold.

You should see me all bundled up to top-off the bird feeders. I wear thermals, jeans, insulated boots, several sweatshirts, a double-layered and insulated hoody, a Carhart insulated hood under my hoody-hood, and insulated gloves. If I ever fall over in the snow I'll never get up again! LOL

I do have a heavy parka; but I keep it in the car for real emergencies. I also have a heavy winter coat, but for the life of me I still haven't been able to find the box it's in.

A lot of snow, we haven't had any for awhile, in fact it was in the 70's, here in Colorado in December! Well it's freezing today, 20's and 30's for this weekend.

It's the pits. Cold and snowy. I wanted to go to Des Moines but didn't want to be on the roads when it was snowing. I am stuck at home.
