Adirondackgardener yes it is a good reminder for the batteries for CO detectors & fire alarms. In town here a couple of years ago there was a tragic accident during a kids birthday sleepover-CO from the furnace I think it was overcame the kids, the parents were in bed & could barely call 911 they were so out of it. I'm late for your party, but when I have hamburger and want a hurry-up dinner, I'll fall back on hamburger french dips. Lightly butter and warm the rolls while cooking the patties, shape them depending on the size of your chosen bread. Packaged au jus mixed with water and simmered a few minutes while the hamburger cooks... If you serve with steak style fries, bet those teenage boys will be dipping the fries in the au jus too :)

I was so pleased with this season's Survivor show, and very happy about the winner. When it was down to the last 4, I thought either one of them was deserving, in various ways. I think Steven's character did show at the time when he lost and was just glad he no longer had to worry about who to pick for the final two. He no longer had to pick it, but JT had that tough decision to make. The hard part of this game is near the end when you need to vote off people that you have really gotten to know and even depend on. It was almost like a Cinderella ending, with the "Happily ever after!" Now we can imagine the rest becoming a big sucess with a happy fulfilling family........

I don't get why people get so worked up over it. Sheesh. Aren't there a lot better things to stress you out? Disclaimer: I have mostly atomic clocks so very little resetting around here. I don't have a structured life, having to report somewhere at a certain time. I sleep when I want and do things when I want. The only, albeit slight impact on me is store hours but an hour give or take is petty in my life. And I'll say that when I was working semi-normal to normal hours I really enjoyed having the sun in the afternoon. When I'd work nights, it was nice to have the sun up "earlier". Seems to me the ones who go craziest over it are the ones impacted the least! My dad used to get so worked up over DST. He'd be screaming "YOU CAN CHANGE THE CLOCK BUT YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE SUN!" Uh yeah, don't you get it? You CAN'T change the sun, so you change the clock. In today's popular vernacular, "DUH!" And ironically, he seemed to always enjoy having daylight when he'd be driving home from work. My estimate is 90% of people who grouse about DST are hobbyists. They make a hobby out of complaining! Nothing FORCES you to change your clocks. Go by your own time. I'm on CST (Cynic Saving Time) year round. I don't get worked up over it. Saves me stress and provides entertainment watching people making mountains from the proverbial molehills.
