Didn't Natalie also buy an idol for herself and Tyson with her coins? I'm rooting for Natalie to get back in and take it all, but I would be ok if Tony won too. I think the reunion will be good, provided there are no technical difficulties. But using remote locations for many shows is working really well, seems like tv producers have that angle covered well

Yes, Natalie bought an idol and gave it to Tyson. But then he's have to win his way back in to use it. She's got advantages in the comeback challenge. I really don't like the idea that someone comes back from the Edge to win it all when they've been on the Edge with the whole jury for a long time. No intrigue, no blindsides, no plotting, just come back and win. Nope, I hope to never see this 'twist' again.

And we won't have a next-season preview tonight, either. ;-(

I think they made it so tough on the Edge for that very reason - no one will think they floated thru the show only to win it all in the end. I think Natalie will deserve the win if she does win it all. She's been playing hard the whole time with zero comforts.

But, sushipup I will agree with you that I don't think they should do that twist again. I think maybe since they're all previous winners they wanted to keep all of them in the game somehow.

I've seen quite a lot of remotes where the sound doesn't match up with the picture. Usually it's someone being interviewed. I hope Survivor has the sense to give people a professional set up to be part of the reunion show. It's my least favorite show anyhow so once I see who wins, if the quality isn't good I won't bother watching the rest. At least now they won't have an audience to waste time on! Too much of that in the past in my opinion.

Did anyone see the preview? Tony was competing alongside ONE of the Edge's people. I think they might have given the "who-gets-back-into-the-game" away in the preview. ?????

Well, it's over. Jeff said they haven't started shooting next season yet so you should apply. Come on 16, 17, ,18, 19 years old, apply. Ugh, please no kids. Can you even imagine?

I am good with the winner. It was a good challenge. I was not a fan of the edge. I don't think they had it as hard on the edge.

The edge looked way worse than the regular game. Hard conditions, minimal food, wind, and boredom along with those challenges.

Natalie made a fatal flaw, and that was not practicing and building fire with Tony. I could understand her reasoning of why she didn't need to do it--that she had a resume for her time on edge and all the ways she worked to get back in the game, and then how she played when she got back into the game. But Rob said it best, you didn't take Tony out when you maybe had the chance. Looks like the only way she could have done it was beat Tony at fire. Just like Chris did to win that other season with the edge. I think Natalie would have won over Sarah had Sarah beaten Tony. Or maybe she should have had Michelle do the fire challenge, she was practicing a lot and looked like she was doing well. Hindsight, though. Hard to tell when you're in the game what's the right thing to do.

These last two episodes were superb. I was bored early on, but the end kicked it into high gear for me, and I can't wait for the return.

Rob called Natalie out at tribal. Said she hadn't spoken to any of them for 4 days before she re-entered the game. OK....so making friends is part of getting the vote. :0) It's a brutal game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree because Edgers didn't have to play the social game or compete in challenges every few days. Natalie didn't have to outwit the others on the Edge--she just had to win that last challenge to get back into the final. Natalie could hold her idol until she was back in the game whereas the other players had to weigh at every tribal when to play theirs. Those who stayed in the game didn't have enough information to evaluate Natalie's game on the Edge and those who were sent to the Edge early didn't have enough information to weigh Tony and Michelle's game. Then Natalie comes in after being out for 33 days and gets to decide who makes the final four. It's ridiculous.

Tony deserved the win, and twelve members of the jury thought so too. What I find likeable about Tony is he has fun playing. You could tell the other players like him when he made them laugh at tribal just by being Tony. He's kind of like a big bumbling kid. He sure was right about Natalie having an idol and Ben and Sarah thought they knew better than him. Sarah sure had egg on her face when Natalie played her idol.

An interesting question was asked of the players--which is more important--outwit, outlast, or outplay? Many of the players say outwit is the most important and Natalie didn't have to play that part of the game.

Once it got down to the final three, it was obvious Tony would win. Michelle mostly rode on the coat tails of others, although I give her credit for winning a couple challenges, so no one was going to vote for her. Natalie wasn’t there to p,ay the game in terms of outwitting the others. I did not like the way Tony sneaked around eavesdropping on people. There was something creepy about that. I liked Denise the best.

oh well, this was fun and how am I going to know it’s Wednesday without Sushi’s posts?

Nicole, right? They will lose viewers if they put kids on there. What happens when a 27 year old player hooks up with a 16 year old coz they don't know how old they really are?!! I think you should be 21 or older to play.

I really, REALLY hope there are no more return players. Go back to old school survivor. No edge, no idols, no fire tokens. No water bottles, pots and pans, PAINT BRUSHES!!!!! Lol. Now we wait for season 41, sigh.

Tony, Denise and Natalie were my favorites, so I'm happy with the outcome. I love Tony's enthusiasm for the game, it's obvious he enjoys every single moment, good or bad.

When I heard Jeff announce ages 16 & up to apply for the show, I yelled "WHY???". Way too many issues with that scenario. I hope there are no returning players next season and no edge. I would like to see some old school Survivor, but could do without the gross eating challenge.

I always thought eating gross stuff might really make them sick on an empty stomach. Not good!

They really need fishing equipment. The people on The Edge were too skinny! The live chickens freak out at least one contestant each show. I noticed there were NO live chickens on this show.

It takes most of the people who apply for the show several years to actually be on it. I don't think there will be many 16 years olds actually filmed. And I think a season of all younger people would be really interesting. No TV no phones, no computers no nothing! I'd watch!

Tony used a few of his cop skills. Like he did stake outs in his tree hideout. He was up at night constantly searching

He played a good game in all aspects and yes he is funny. I absolutely loved how his children were all over him and his wife too. He has a great loving family. I think they will definitely be able to use the money and I really liked how he said he was going to use it. Secure his children's future and take care of his family.

I really wasn't a big Tony fan but he earned it.

I have to say, the not so nice part of me laughed abt Michele not getting one vote. That has happened several times now.

I was very happy with Tony winning. I would've liked it if Natalie had won as well. I was SO happy Sarah didn't make it to the final 3 so we didn't have to listen to her drone on and on. I liked her in the season she won but not so much this time around.

I actually felt sorry for Michelle not getting a vote. She was the easy choice to take to final 3.

Michelle seemed like she was making fire easily. I think the only thing Nat could've done differently was to pick Sarah and then make Michelle & Tony battle out the fire challenge. Boston Rob is crazy for saying Nat should've taken her chance beating Tony in a fire challenge - no way should anyone give up their guaranteed final 3 spot ever. There's no way he would have done that so I was disappointed he'd say it.

Natalie did have a huge part in the game. When she re-capped all the advantages she sent back into the game, I was impressed.

But I think Tony did play the better game and he's certainly entertaining to watch! The time he thought he had an advantage that turned into a disadvantage, his reaction as he was reading it was my favorite part of the entire season!

Share, remember when Chris Underwood won, coming back from the Edge like Natalie did. He gave up his immunity and faced off against Devens in that fore challenge and won the respect of the jury because of it. So, that's what Natalie failed to do.

Yes, sushi, I remember that only because Devins would have sure won had Chris not beat him at fire. Quite exciting, and that's what Rob's issue was with Natalie and why he voted for Tony.

OT, but was anyone impressed by Tony's home? Looked quite posh to me. Not the home I would expect a police officer to have, must be a higher rank.
