Don't forget Survivor Finale tonight!!!
Comments (44)I liked the end Dave spoke it well. It was definitely a well played game by Rob. The $100K Well........Jeff "Ambers' going shopping." Rob "~~~Oh yeah." LOL I sure would if I were in her place. Matt probably could have used it but his constant whinge proselytizing was not playing the game it was just whining about his lot and giving God all the responsibility to take care of him. Someone ought to tell him God helps those who help themselves. Love his hair cut. He is a handsome guy. Many of the guys were handsome or cute to some degree even Ralph 'cleaned up' had sparkling eyes and a boyish grin under that umm? facial hair. Russel and Phillip just looked icky/creepy/sneaky to me. Natalie She got her staying in the game so long money and had to do absolutely squat but use ROB to keep her there since she wasn't playing she wasn't a threat. I loved that "I used my strength of Social Skills." comment she made. Social skills to use people doesn't get you winning votes and the judges saw through her so well. Julie did drop the hammer a little hard. The kid was only doing what she knows to be in the game. Phillip????? He caught on he was only left because Rob knew no one would vote for him. He got his staying in the game so long money and I think that is the biggest reason he went along with Rob. He knew he would never win no matter how he played the game. His personality was awful even in the reunion show. Will Phillip ever answer a question without babbling nonsense? Will he ever shut up period? OMG burning those awful undies I wanted to gag. Had I been there I would have been WAY UP WIND! I don't think I have ever had the 'ewww my skin is trying to crawl away from that guy' feeling from a person on TV before. I'm still ewww when I think of him! The Former Federal Agent crap was a dominant issue in the reunion too. Proof or not still doesn't mean he is sane or in any way capable of being a stable dependable friend/person or fedderal agent. The supposed proof Begs the Question "WHY "Former" Federal Agent?" Usually death is responsible for folk leaving a federal agency's employment. A lot of benefits to keep them working until old age. Unless they are kicked out for being WACKO or they retire by age or request (usualy infractions of rules and regs constantly over and over will cause a request for leaving or firing). We still don't know what branch of the Federal Government besides FBI CIA AND other Security agencies USPS workers are Federal agents too! They have badges and take training. LOL Well fall is only a few months away. Enjoy what the summer season has to offer. LIL...See MoreSurvivor Finale Tonight!!!
Comments (32)Ditto Flamey. Well said. The jury voted their emotions instead of for the person who actually played the game. Outwit, Outplay and Outlast! Russell did all it all. It's supposed to be Survivor not Prom King or Queen Eric is a complete tool He is supposed to ask questions.Instead when Natatlie was too dumb to even speak up for her self he decided to take on the role of campaign manager and give a big speech n her behalf. He played the game for her. She couldn't even manage that. I liked Jaison at first but as the weeks wore on he turned out to be a big crybaby. from playing the race card at TC to his whining last night about how they OMG lied in the game. What a hypocrite! He is studying to be a lawyer so the can lie for the rest of his life to make his living. Natalie couldn't even defend herself at the final TC. I almost peed my pants when she said she chose to let Russell take the heat for her play. He chose her! She didn't choose him! He could have eliminated her at any time. I knew Natalie had won when they had her all dolled up for the reunion show. Dumb, blond,Barbie takes it all. ICK At least the other girls who won on their looks previously could speak for themselves and fought to win in front of the jury. She will be forever known as the girl who won a million for doing nothing. Russell will always be remembered as the true Sole Survivor of this game and the viewers confirmed that. As for Shambo? She may have a fugly hairdo and be a bit rough around the edges but she's a class act. She didn't whine about being voted off and she gave Russell the respect due for being the best player as he deserved....See MoreSurvivor finale tonight!
Comments (15)In the past, hidden idols could be used through the fourth from last council, so with six or five people. I like Tasha but she hasn't played the best social game. I like how Kelley hides in plain sight. They keep looking at her as if she were a weak girl, even though she's shown time and again that she's playing on all levels. In many ways, I think she's earned it the most, though none of them would bother me as winners. I like Spencer, but he's so clueless! I could root for Keith because he's just on a different level--while he sounds clueless, I think he's just out to make the best of things and get that million dollars, and he's playing but not making a big deal of it. Jeremy seems like a really good guy, but while his head is in the game, I don't think he's been seen playing it so much as existing in it. I have a soft spot in my heart for Kimmie. She seems to be on a different planet, and more surviving than playing. So I guess I'm rooting for Kelley to win, and maybe Keith as an alternative. But I wouldn't mind any of them. They did manage, in the end, to cut out all the drama. :)...See MoreSurvivor finale tonight! Who do you like?
Comments (42)"I loved the way the final votes were read but trying to figure out how and when that was planned." "A tie could happen anytime, it would only take 1 person to vote for the 3rd person to make a tie." Last season, in one of the Q & A sessions that Dalton Ross does with Jeff Probst, the subject of a tie came up and Jeff said that if there were a tie at the final tribal, then the person not involved in the tie would cast the final, deciding, vote. If you think about it, this is what they do in "regular" tribal councils when there is a tie vote to oust someone. The folks who are tied do not get to vote again, and everyone else votes again with votes only being cast for one or the other of the folks who are tied. Ok, now for "how and when it was planned." When everyone is done voting at a tribal council, Jeff always says, "I'll go tally the votes." Then he comes back and dramatically pulls them from the urn and reads them. If Jeff just grabbed the urn and brought it back to his post and started randomly pulling them out and reading them, it would not be nearly as dramatic as it has been. That's because when he goes off to "tally the votes," he actually looks at each one, and then they are arranged in the urn in a manner that will provide the most drama as they are being read. In last night's case, when Jeff previewed the votes and saw that there was a tie, he knew he HAD to read them out loud to the group right then and there, because he knew that Laurel would have to cast the deciding vote. No, he couldn't have waited and had Laurel cast the vote at the beginning of the reunion show, because it would have been a tainted vote. Think about it -- when they are on location, they have no idea what is going on. They only know what they see and hear. They don't know what another player is saying to the camera in the "confessional" interviews; they don't know what other players and saying to each other behind someone's back, etc. By the time the live shows rolls around, they've been home for several months, and they've watched every episode on tv, just like we have. That final vote needed to be cast in a manner that represented what Laurel felt at the time, uninfluenced by outside factors....See More- 9 years ago
