Survivor Finale tonight - we are eating South American!
Comments (4)Oh man, I didn't get my invite Alexa...LOL! I love CHIMMICHURRI SAUCE...I made that and the rum soaked cake several year ago for one of our virtual dinners. I'm guessing both were a big hit with your group. I know y'all had a great evening and I hope your guy/gal won.....I don't follow this one but I'd fake it and be there for the food!!! Comments (13)The reason I mentioned Dan as a possible winner is because they have given him almost NO air time during the whole season. The only thing they have shown is bits and pieces of "Poor worthless gimpy Dan!" Many of them talked about keeping Na to take to the end, but did anyone mention Dan to take to the end. There is a "LOT" that goes on that we never see. They usually "blindsight" us with the editing. If the winner is obvious, they would lose viewers. From what we have seen, Dan is less "deserving" (although I think anyone who makes it to the end IS deserving) then some of the others. For that matter Jane looked very deserving, until last week! I should be very interesting! I'm preparing our pizza!...See MoreSurvivor finale tonight!
Comments (15)In the past, hidden idols could be used through the fourth from last council, so with six or five people. I like Tasha but she hasn't played the best social game. I like how Kelley hides in plain sight. They keep looking at her as if she were a weak girl, even though she's shown time and again that she's playing on all levels. In many ways, I think she's earned it the most, though none of them would bother me as winners. I like Spencer, but he's so clueless! I could root for Keith because he's just on a different level--while he sounds clueless, I think he's just out to make the best of things and get that million dollars, and he's playing but not making a big deal of it. Jeremy seems like a really good guy, but while his head is in the game, I don't think he's been seen playing it so much as existing in it. I have a soft spot in my heart for Kimmie. She seems to be on a different planet, and more surviving than playing. So I guess I'm rooting for Kelley to win, and maybe Keith as an alternative. But I wouldn't mind any of them. They did manage, in the end, to cut out all the drama. :)...See More12/15 Survivor finale tonight
Comments (24)I don't know what Erika did that Xander didn't to win Survivor except that she went to Exile Island and broke an hourglass. Big whoop! They both won two challenges and survived being on the bottom, but Xander found an idol that caused him to lose his vote and he still survived. I think the rest of them may have had a personal dislike for Xander but I don't see why. And poor Xander, even at the final tribal he thought Ricard was looking out for him when he whispered "Play your idol." Ricard was irrationally upset with Xander for not playing his idol for him and assuring him a spot in the final three and therefore the million dollars. Ricard would have never played his idol for Xander. I hope Xander sees him in a true light now after watching the show....See More- 8 years ago
