Yes, DH does our collection of old mechanical clocks and I do the electronic ones that don't self-correct.

I only need to set my microwave clock and my mantle clock manually. Oddly though, my radio controlled projection clock did not reset itself during the night. I have had this clock several years and it has always been correct. I unplugged the power and removed the batteries briefly to force it to reset. An hour later, it is still wrong. It is in the same location it has always been so I can't see how it is not getting enough signal. Anyone else have this problem with their clocks?

I did it as soon as I had a cup of coffee. Of course, then I wondered why I was up so early. :)

I was completely unaware of it this year for some reason. I turned on the TV at 10 to watch Meet the Press, and wondered what had happened to it. Then I realized it was 9 o'clock.

Everything reset on their own except for the one on the stove, microwave and the one next to the bed. I'll do those later. It was a little before 9:00 when I woke up and I thought I had slept later than usual. Then I got up and saw that it was only 8:00.

Not sure if I slept in or not. Yesterday the answer would have been yes, but today the answer is no.

All nine of them (including the car).

I did one car and the turkey clock i have here at work as part of the Thanksgiving decor. Still have to do the other car, the stove and the microwave. Everything else set itself back.

Elizabeth, if your clock has a date function, make sure the date is correct. One of our clocks that is supposed to auto-adjust didn’t and the date was 10/32 instead of 11/4. Updated the date and the clock fixed itself.

We usually do it the night before but didn't last night.

As a result I looked at the clock and got up, started my day, not realizing it was an hour earlier until I looked at my computer!

My hubby changed all of our clocks and even our watches last night. The poor cats are totally confused by this time change. Their little internal clocks are programmed to Daylight Savings Time (like mine). This is "not" fun. Today has seemed sooooooo long.

My dogs behaved like the ones in the “smiles” thread. The walk was late and I was starving them. Gave in 15 minutes early for their dinner.

My clock does have a date function which also auto updates. There is no way to set anything manually. It connects to the atomic clock near Denver by radio waves. It did finally correct itself mid-afternoon. No idea how that happened.

A a Daylight Saving Time hater, I set mine back with great joy this morning! I can understand why many who work jobs with 'normal' daytime hours like DST, but even when I was in that group, I hated it! My body is set to run on standard time, and nothing I've tried over the years has been able to reset it. I well remember one year, I think it was in the early '70s, Texas decided to keep DST all year round, and it was awful! ! The worst part was getting kids to school every morning while it was still pitch dark out! That was almost as bad as the long summer evenings that drag on and on, the sun not setting until almost 10:00 PM. Makes those 3 digit summer temps seem even hotter than they really are. So hello and WELCOME standard time, fall, and winter! ! !

I did mine when I got up this morning. I have 2 spring wound clocks, 1 antique weight driven clock, an 'atomic' watch that was supposed to adjust itself each night but needs to be in a location with a strong enough radio signal from WWV to do this, 3 electric clocks, and a clocks in the displays of my gas range and microwave oven. My watch had synchronized its minutes and seconds to the WWV time signal therefore I used it to set all the other clocks. An alternate time piece is a cell phone. It synchronizes to the phone company's time clock during turn-on and can be used to set the other clocks. Resetting the electronic and electric clocks was easy. To set the windup and weight driven clocks back one hour, I stop those and wait for more than an hour to pass. Due to their strike mechanisms, those should not be forced backward through their strike zones, else the clock can be messed up. Two of those clocks have strike zones on the hour and half-hour and one has only on the hour.

While typing this, I realized that I missed 2 other battery powered clocks. One of these is an anniversary clock given to us by a friend.

Got all of the house ones done Saturday -- 4 of them.

Did the car this morning.

I looked down at my wrist watch earlier and nearly panicked! I thought I was late to a meeting, before I realized I'd forgotten to change it. LOL

My cat has an automatic feeder. He needs to have tiny servings several times a day (doctor's orders) and this contraption drops 1/8 cup servings five times a day. We never adjust it for daylight savings time.

I've changed the stove and my bedside, but not yet the car, family room, MW or the thermostat (almost forgot about that one! Doing it now) I'll get around to the rest eventually.

The chickens adjust by dusk or dawn, not by any clock I could set for them.

Personally, my own body clock has yet to adjust but since I'm retired, I really don't care. It will happen when it happens.

Today I did the clock on the thermostat and in my car. The one in the car always gets me. Last night I thought it was six already when it was only five. I don’t understand why we do this.

I did the car yesterday, the first time I had driven it since the change and finally remembered to reset the oven and microwave clocks today. Since I mostly tell time by my phone and iPad, I don't get around to changing the manual clocks for a day or so.
