While your in MSCONFIG HPWuSchd2 Unless the software is antivirus or firewall software, we always recommend against background tasks that check for software updates. They typically slow down boot-up times, often generating errors during the boot-up process, slowing down your Internet connection, particularly if you are on dial-up rather than broadband, and the worst behaved ones install software without your knowledge, potentially creating conflicts. In the case of HPWUSCHD2 we have seen it occasionally crash on boot-up on some PCs. Most importantly, if your printer works fine and without problems, there is no need to fix what does not need fixing through the installation of the latest drivers whenever you are prompted to ! Only update your drivers when you actually have problems that need fixing - to do that, navigate to HP through our Drivers page. Delete this task immediately on the Startups tab.

I have the ASPIRE ONE 722- BZ454 net book...I do not see on the back of my net book any numbers like you had mentioned AOA110 or the other...so what does this mean? I have an updated net book? My battery is fine so far, but just wanted to check in the event this may happen to mine in the future. BTW, I used just once the internal camera...when I first bought this unit, and now I don't know how to initiate it. No manual or anything.

Thanks. I followed the instructions in the link, and got the format correct. (24 hr. clock, without AM/PM) However, it still left the time, day, and date on 3 lines, necesitating a very high taskbar. (and cutting into usable screen space) I did find something that moved everything to one line again, which is the way I had it originally. I didn't realize there were this many steps to setting this up but, the last time we did this, I had my nephew helping, and I'm not sure what he did. I like Advanced SystemCare. Good program that let's you do a lot of things to help your system. I use the freebie but will probably send in a few bucks since it's so good. I also like Ccleaner lite. You don't need to run it every day. Once a month is a good idea. Or every couple months. It should be part of a maintenance program for the system. Run a spyware cleanup program or two and antivirus regularly. Always have a firewall running. Get Windows Updates regularly, keep virus and malware definitions updated. Avoid using problem programs and you'll be in pretty good shape. And of course, back up important files regularly!
