What's for dinner tonite?

I know what most of you will be saying, but I might as well do the thread anyway.

I'm going with hubby tonite when he plays. He played last nite (a rare Thursday nite gig) and again tonite, in a different city, with a different band). So it was a late nite for him last nite (home at 4 am) and out again tonite. It's an early nite tonite....play until midnite only, which is why I'd like to go. I can't do the 2:15 gigs anymore.

Anyway, back to dinner. I've got a pork roast in the slow cooker, having mashed potatoes and carrots with it.

Yes, I am going to Amber and Mike's in about an hour and will eat leftovers. I am taking some fresh iced tea. Cheryl is taking fresh mashed potatoes and gravy. I hope you have a fun night tonight Sherry!

My daughter Britt, and I are going to Swiss Chalet for dinner tonight to use up a 2 for 1 coupon I have. It expires tomorrow, and we're both free this evening, so I thought it would be nice to visit and catch up with her. She just got back from snowboarding in Banff. I played bridge today. Partner and I came in first which surprised us because we had such crummy cards. That's the good part of duplicate, though. Doesn't matter how bad the cards are it's how good you do with the bad cards. LOL Guess we held our own. I didn't get home until 5:40. Was going to make shrimp creole but am settling for chili from the freezer instead. We'll have the creole Wednesday night. Hope you feel better Jas.

Amber and I did the grocery shopping today because we knew the bad weather was coming. We had our lunch at Logan's and as usual I always bring half of mine home. I had some toast and tea earlier so I will eat my southwestern barbecue chicken, coleslaw, baked sweet potato and onion petals along with the yeast roll tomorrow. Still cold and snowing here. I'm sorry, Jas--I didn't see your post before I posted. Hope you have a good time listening to the music tonight. I sure have missed the "What's for dinner" thread. I love reading the posts, but my keyboard decided quit working until my SIL fix it yesterday.

Houstonmom we are having the same thing, homemade pizza (and not turkey pizza). But a take on that could be pizza with turkey, cranberry sauce for the sauce and gravy covering it like cheese :)
