Did you all hear that Ace got arrested in a bar in FL? Supposedly he hit someone and the cops came and dragged him off while he was yelling "but Oi'm famous!" lolol Can't you just hear him with that overdone accent?

And come on- last week's individual immunity challenge- build a fire, here's all you need, burn your string- I can't believe they almost all stunk at that except for Susie and Sugar! They should be ashamed, haven't they learned anything from over the years????

I was sorry that Bob didn't find another hidden immunity idol, I was hoping there would be another one on exile "island" that Sugar didn't bother to look for. That would have been a cool twist. Liked his little fake, though.

Randy is getting on my nerves, he's got such an attitude and seems like such a jerk, I wonder if that's editing or for real? If it's real, he needs to go and spread some of his special cheer at juryland. (Boy, Charlie sure was happy to be joining Marcus there, I wonder if Marcus was that happy to be alone with Charlie for 3 days? Talk about a crush! lol)

What was the name of their new tribe, again? It seemed pretty stupid to me, I remember that. Did you watch? Any comments?

I totally agree with all you posted!! This season is good. I keep thinking there's going to be another twist somewhere too. At first I thought it would be another idol, but I did like Bob's version.

Charlie needs to get a grip.
Randy needs anger management classes.

By the way, the new tribe is nobag... Gabon spelled backwards. Not the most original.

Most of them are idiots. I really liked Marcus and Charlie, sorry to see them voted off. I think Charlie is so cute. I hate Suzie and Randy......a lot! Bob is probably my favoueite. Kenny is slowly getting on my nerves. And Gabon spelled backwards? What a lack of imagination. And it doesn't sound that great either. And they couldn't even pronounce Fang properly.

If skinned properly the skins are pulled off and are like a tube of skin and fir on the inside. We used 1/2" plywood forms to pull the skins onto (fur on inside toward the plywood). We made several different sizes of plywood forms so that the hides were stretched very tight. They were then hung up to dry for about a week to 10 days at which time the fats were pealed off the skin carefully as not to tear the skin. Then we would sell them to a fur dealer who would give us $2 for pure white and for the different colored furs as little as $.50 each. That was good for the late 1950's to early 60's. During the summer I would keep them in large fenced in areas and the feed cost was nothing. We buried the fence 1' deep and 1' flat away for the fenced area like an "L" for a total of 2' under ground. We used several 4'x8' sheets of marine plywood and put these on top of cement blocks so the rabbits had a place the was shaded and gave them cover form weather and hawks and owls. There were many bushes and pines in there for them to nest and hide in also. Only one buck and 20 does were in each 3/4 acre pen. We usually culled the young every 30 days or so and pen raise them to butchering size-about 8-12 week depending on the breed. During the winter only the buck was left in the pens. There was enough food for 1 rabbit for the winter months. Sometimes we would give them so hay if we noticed that they were over browsing the shrubs due to deep snow. They were so much healthier this way. Ma would fry the rabbit that she dipped in her herbal blend of flour mix. After they were 1/2 way cooked she would transfer them to her famous 'Dutch Oven' over low heat and added a cup of cheap wine (MD, it was the brand Charlie Weaver used to push on TV) and of course the cook always saved herself a wee bit of wine to sip on while preparing the rest of the meal. I have a lot of 3/4" diameter rubber hoses. They're heavy but they put out more water faster, and they don'tt kink. I bought a brand with a lifetime guarantee and it's been honored twice. These hoses last many many years though. The coil hoses are "miniature" in diameter and put out water much much more slowly. If you don't like watering, you'll really hate these curly hoses. I bought one only because I wanted a hose that had safe to drink water for the bird bath and dog dish and I also water a few plants in hanging baskets, all within short range of the spigot so I can more easily avoid tangling. Still, I have to be extremely careful handling it so as to avoid tangling. Recommended only for special circumstances, not for watering in ground plants.

Hidcote Blue is a pretty lavender but did not survive the winter for me. Mumstead has come back each year since 1999. I grow most of the herbs listed using them for ground cover, host plants, cooking, munching, and for the pleasure of their aromas. One not listed that I grow is burnett which is used in salads for its cucumbery taste. I love golden oregano for the color and aroma though it needs to be corraled or will spread everywhere. Ditto for ginger mint, chocolate mint, etc. mint. Thyme is a favorite herb used as ground cover and for culinary purposes. Have several varieties and always open to adding another. I lost my coconut and lavender thymes last year. New to me this year will be agastache and cilantro. Will wintersow seeds that were sent as trades/swaps.

I follow weight watchers and I find that if I plan out our weekly menu it's easier, I eat healthier and it's much less expensive, though I will admit there were weeks (especially while house hunting) where everything got messed up. It's difficult to be dedicated to this, but when we don't (I mean, when I don't) plan we either eat out or eat pasta. I have a huge list of food blogs that I go to for ideas. We also eat very little meat during the week because we do not support factory farms and cannot really afford the meat otherwise. We have DH daughter on weekends, so we save the meat meals for then, otherwise it's just the 2 of us. I do the planning and buy the groceries, DH cooks, but I do get his OK on the chosen meals. So, here is what I do. Sometime during the weekend I check out what we have left that needs to be used up and write that down. Then I ask DSD and DH if they have any requests for the next weekend. Then I start searching/reading my food blogs and weight watchers cook books. I find recipes or whatever for dinners Sunday - Saturday night, and either more for lunches, or plan the dinners to be bigger to accommodate extra portions. Then I get "approval" from DH. I write up 2 lists (I like to write things down). 1 is each recipe's ingredients. The other is all the items we need from the store. This way if I get to the store and need to eliminate one of the recipes or make some other change, I can check all the recipes and see if that will cause changes anywhere else. We do the shopping Sunday. I try to plan for an easy meal for Sunday night cuz who wants to do all that work after shopping? Otherwise, each meal does not have a set day. It seems like a lot of work, but honestly, our grocery bill has dropped dramatically, and it's so much easier to come home and check the list for dinner then to come home tired at the end of the day to a bunch of random groceries and say "hm, what can we make out of this", which is when we end up eating out, not cost effective. Life does get in the way, he does get too tired to cook, but I do try to plan some simple meals for the worst days. Grilled veggie burgers is one of them. He wants to make up a spreadsheet of meals we've tried and rate them for easy picking when I don't have time to plan. This week is bad because my back is very injured and I've been in a lot of pain since Saturday. I don't think it even occurred to him to plan or go shopping :( But my appetite is pretty much gone, so we can have pasta all week if he wants LOL I'd like to eventually get to the once or twice a month cooking, but that's a very long term goal! I hope this ramble helped someone!!!

I think the really funny thing is that those two didn't have a clue they were going to be blindsided...They really thought they were running the show and they both got smacked in the face...too funny....Marcus had an ego that was over the top and it put him where he is...

Bob and Sugar are my favorites. Can't stand Randy or Crystal. I thought it was funny that only Sugar and Susie could build a fire. Can't wait for Bob's "idol" to come into play.

Bob is awesome. I think he's almost better than Martha Stewart. I hope someone tries to play that Idol.

Charlie cracked me up. I think he was almost happy to be voted off because he got to be with Marcus again.

I'm not tired of Kenny yet. I like to root for the underdog. I like him better than Sugar. There's something about her that I'm not quite sure of.

I thought "Nobag" was kind of funny. Sure, its not original, but I rarely like any of the team names.

I read somewhere that tonigt is supposed to be really good. I hope so.

I can't believe that it's this far into this years season and I'm still not really rooting for anyone in particular. But I'm still here every Thurs night, looking forward to 8pm eastern time.

My Pizza dough is raising!

It think it is finally getting interesting. I would like to see someone snoope in Bob's bag and find that idol -- then get voted out because of trying to use it. That would make the time on the island worth it all for Bob. If he gets any skinnier, he's going to be "see-through!"

My 2 favorites at this point are Bob and Sugar.

Anyone else notice that even though Crystal was an Olympic athlete she sucks in all the physical challenges? Even on the first episode she couldn't make it up the hill and had to have someone pull/push her up. Huh!

My favorites are Bob and Sugar. Randy needs to go home soon...very soon and then Crystal. Charlie didn't seem too upset about leaving last week, I think the trade off of spending time with Marcus made him quite happy.

I realize alot of editing goes on with these shows, but I think Randy is a jerk regardless. Wonder how he is as a wedding videographer (personality wise)

if it is editing with randy, it's certainly fine editing at that. he is miserable and disrespectful and the things he says makes my skin crawl. just look at his "last" comments tonight. jerk till the end.

the thing i wish was that sugar hadn't laughed. she should have contained herself as if it was all a big shock.

building a fire without a match does in fact take skill. it's not as easy as you think.

i just love bob, a nerdy mcgyver type.

great season this year. has kept my interest all along. i have loved all the blindsided evictions and tonight was just icing on the cake.

Yes, Dh and I notice that for being an Olympic athlete, Crystal sure sucks at challenges, keep meaning to find out what she actually did for the olympics. I loved Nov 20 episode, well deserved individual!
