A friend in need

As most of you know, Ronnie, our friend Brendas (Country Bumpkin) husband has been

going through chemo and radiation for lung cancer.

He has just been back in the hospital with complications from the chemo and sure could use

all the prayers and good thoughts you can send his way.

Big hugs and lots of prayers going out to Brenda and Ronnie!

This is everywhere in our lives, this disease. I feel for them both and have closed my eyes to wish them luck and strength to go beyond this.

Go to the Computer forum. There is alot of help here, or Kitchen Table. Mac seems to be easier to understand. Are their any places in your area, like HS or college that you can take classes. Many areas have adult classes, and even the local libraries have classes. You can ask at places like Staples, BUT, they will try to sell you anything. Informaton first, then buy Good luck M.

Avon does not work like this. Please have your friend contact them, and the state Attorney General ASAP. Also here in ND, the media will release warnings regarding scams. Avon will not release names and addresses. I am so glad she did not get caught. Since I do not have a reg. rep. I buy from our local flea market, but even there I am careful, as some of the reps are selling out of date products. Just for a note, a rep buys directly from Avon and can sell the product for any price the want to, unless this policy has changed.

Good wishes and hopes for a better future winging their way to this family ... and some prayers offered on their behalf. I've often heard people claim that everyone has troubles, and I recall a parishioner family that had a long series of them, including a son in law killed in a train accident, daughter with young granddaughter died of cancer, another daughter not fully functional, and a barn burning. When someone said about everyone having troubles, or "what goes around ... comes around", or something like that, and someone referred to that family's ongoing difficulties, it made people in that community reconsider their earlier somewhat superficial judgement. @IreneMorresey Thanks for your input! I just brought home several samples of grey paints...wish me luck! I do really like the idea of a darker grey but I’m too chicken to go through with it - I’m afraid it would diminish whatever natural light we get and I’m afraid of not having the right tones of furniture ...but I like that idea!!

She emailed me awhile back and said how he'd done so well and had only one more round. Dang!

I'm so sorry to hear that Ronnie is having problems with the chemo. It's so sad that part of the cure can make you so sick. My thoughts and prayers go out for Ronnie and CB. Thanks for letting us know Jenni.

Thank each of you that took the time to post to this for Brenda.
Not only are you sending prayers and good thoughts but you are letting her know you are her friend and you care.
