Tess is such a good rose. It was on the bush 6 days and just kept getting poofier and poofier but held together. Its been a dry heat and in the 90's this past week plus uber smoky from the wildfires and literally 'raining' ash some days. Gotta love Tess! Some others doing well in the wicked heat TIMF Litchfield Angel Jude the Obscure...I swear I couldnt get enough pics of him the other day!! He is sooo ~Dreamy~ I'm obsessed with the way the buds look half open. I could get lost in those buds for hours!

A2gemini~ I am loving the input so far! Let me explain why the cabinets are the way they are. I had quoted cabinets at about 13,000 online, big box stores came in higher and custom were way higher. Had a general idea about the baking center, passthrough, second oven where the fridge would go and sink/dishwasher. MIL was in Re-Store and saw cabinets and bought them on the spot. Hickory raised panel, solid wood. She wanted the island and figured she knew someone who would take the rest of the cabinets, either me or her sister who is re-doing her kitchen. Since then we have added a window, removed an exterior door across from the pantry and created what we have now based on these cabinets. I wanted painted wood cabinets and we currently have 850$ in awesome cabinets (yes that need to be painted) But I figure I can spurge on appliances at this point. The shelf to the right of the sink is to balance the visual impact of having different sized cabinets on the same wall across from each other over the sink. The desk area is a byproduct of placing what we had where we could, and I think I'm loving the idea of it. Might put my computer there, mount a monitor on the wall, hide the mouse and keyboard in the drawer. Its really growing on me. I also figure great place for working on recipes, or kids to do homework while I wash veggies. The sliding doors will be on the pantry side so there shouldn't be any loss of counter space on the kitchen side. That space will be about 44" but with the ability to turn around to the island for more space. Thanks for the input!!

I'm back. Got to Target and saw a mob around a shelf display on the main isle ( I was thinking the jackets would be on a sales rack on the back wall)and jackets were being thrown into carts left and right. lol I picked up the first large that I could find and immediately noticed how small they ran. I then gathered up mostly the black in XL and L. Got two XL in green. Those were the only two colors in L and XL. I got a reddish/pink jacket in M for my daughter that wears a medium. My other daughter would need a large. I got 10 jackets all together. Once home, I tried on the XL and could barely squeeze in. My older daughter is rather blessed up top, so I am afraid that even the XL will not zip up to the top and that the M will be too small for younger daughter. Oh well, at least the L and XL will fit someone in need. Thanks again!

We did our Black Friday shopping at Kohl's online earlier today. Bought a new comforter set for the new bedroom set we bought last month for our guest room. If you buy $75 or more it was free shipping. The comforter set was $69 so we bought a much needed 1 qt sauce pan for $16. Used the free shipping code and I found another code for 15% off so the total bill was about $95. We got free shipping but because the comforter set is large, we had to pay a surcharge of $7.50 or so.
