I think a lot of us have online albums with pictures of our various clematis. Would everyone be into collecting all of the album links in one thread? I love looking at everybody's photos.

I'll start if you want. I don't have a lot of pictures since my babies are still so little, but here's what's I have:

Hi Violetta, those are very nice photos. It is nice to see what you can grow in pots. I have a few photo's that you can look at on photobucket. They are not that exciting. The last page is mostly pictures of clematis vines on trees. There was a discussion on it last year and people wanted to see how the vines grew up the trees. Clematis season should be starting soon. My clematis macropetala Cecile is full of buds and should start blooming any day and then I should have clematis in bloom until frost. That is one of the reasons I love clematis. The genus has so many varities which bloom at all different times throughout the growing season.

Mar: You funny thing, you! You don't need tactics with lil' ol' me. :o) To download fonts, this is what I do (BTW, I kind of fumbled through it myself so I hope this makes sense). First of all, I went to the winzip homepage and downloaded the free trial version of winzip. Then I visited some font sites. Here are some I recommend: Font Freak and Font Face. But check out ScrapLink because there are more listed there. Anyhoo, you just click on the fonts you like and the downloading part kicks in (which you seem to have the hang of already!). Once that's done, click on your winzip program and it will prompt you through all the steps of "unzipping" the font. Then, it's a matter of "cut and paste". You want to paste it into your font folder (you can find that by going to "start", then "control panel", and "fonts" should be in there). Once I did this, I just went into Word and the font was there, ready to use! I hope that helps a little. Tammy: What a compliment that I remind you of your daughter in some way! Thank you! *warm fuzzies* I'm still trying to "convert" my mom into a scrappin' freak -- maybe you could talk to her and give her a little push, eh? ;o) Lore: Actually...*hee hee*...I've had to improvise a lot when it comes to my SB hobby. I'm limited to Michael's as my main SB supplier and although they have some neat stuff, in my opinion their 8.5 x 11 album selection isn't great (they had ONE in different colours and it was too expensive). So, I visited numerous photography/camera places and found an "almost no name" (because I don't even remember the brand) 3-ring photo album to use. It was something like 7 bucks. I just made sure it was archival quality. Reading Week (Canadian version of Spring Break) is coming up soon so I'm actually planning a road trip with the specific mission of crossing the border in search of SB stores! LOL! Since we're posting links to our kitchens this was the partially finished reveal back in 2010 to my condo. It showed the before and after. I sold the condo this past May. Here are a few pics from it completely finished and staged. (What's missing are the Mission studio lights over the bar area and the Arroyo Craftsman sconces in the dining room, since we removed those and put less expensive lights for selling. The Mission Studio lights will be going in our new build).

Joanie38, We are in the process of putting a direct vent gas fireplace in as well. We went with a Regancy and it's sitting in our living room waiting to be installed this week. We looked at the Excalibur as well. Although I liked both, the Regancy's flame (we purchased the extra ember kit) looked so real to me. Our cabinet maker is adding custom cabinets next to the fireplace to house our tv components and other items. It's going to be a long process. Chrissay

YAY! Thanks guys! I just love looking at pictures. Hopefully someday mine will be half as pretty!

I love the shots taken from further back, where you can see the whole plant, not just one bloom. Flowerfan, some of yours are huge! Is that just one clematis? How old are they?

Buyorsell, I didn't know that Asao sometimes double bloomed like that? Or were my eyes playing tricks on me?

Your homemade trellis are gorgeous. That "wall of blooms" pic was so beautiful!

I can't wait for blooms. (Miguel will tease me for my impatience, but I can't help it!)

Sorry that the names are gone from my Album...the site where I store them crashed and luckily I was able to retrieve most of them but they came without their names..So I need to spend several hours redoing my Albums and renaming all my pics..grrrr....Jeanne

Jeanne - no way - I HAVE Venosa Violacea! I got it at the end of last season! Now I REALLY can't wait to see blooms! :0D

That is exciting..your gonna love it..I love it so much that I planted two..LOL...It's my album over at GB but it couldn't be helped..I was just thankful that he had our photos backed up..I did spend this morning naming some of them!!..Jeanne

Hi Violetta, I do have some large clematis and it is just one plant. Polish spirit and xtriternata rubra marginata get very large. They are both about 6 years old. I also have a large Montana growing up a purple plum tree that is very large. I can't wait for it to bloom next month. It should really put on a show, it's about 25 feet tall and 5-6 years old. I'll post a picture when it blooms. You'll have to post pictures when yours bloom also. Karen
