I wash my hair, when I shower. Towel dry it, and then comb it back. That's it. Well, not quite. As it continues drying I use my natural comb (LOL, fingers) and run them through it often.

Make up, none! I just look as Mother Nature intends me to do... tanned in the summer (even so I put on heavy sunblock) and whiter in the winter, unless I get out plenty for bike rides. :)

Thus, you could call my time ZERO.

As little as possible on my hair. In the summer, it's washed and combed, air dry. In colder weather, wash and a quick blowdry. Little or no product used on it.

I almost never wear make up so not much time spent on it for me,either!

Like many of you--I wash my hair when I take a shower (1-2 minutes tops, there), let it air-dry. Combing a couple of times a day--that's seconds. When I cook or if I'm going out, I twist it up and add a clip--that takes 4 seconds (I just timed it--LOL).

Make-up--none. Have never been able to see the logic in washing my face, then layering on 'dirt' that will have to be cleaned off at day's end. And I do believe that's one reason why my skin is so undamaged that people always think I'm about 20 years younger than I am.

I wash my hair in the morning, blow it dry, then use a spray wax to style, then hair spray to set. After that I use a Pond's or Olay facial wipe then wait for that to dry, apply my foundation, a little blush & some mascara. Takes me about 15 minutes for everything.

I have very long hair that I do nothing to so it stays nice and healthy. I usually tie it up during the day. I always wear a little makeup, especially eyeliner, but it takes me less than 5 minutes from start to finish.

I wash and conditioner my hair every 3 or 4 days in the shower. Used to wash it every day but it's dryer now so i let it go as long as I can. Towel dry and add shiner or silk drops. Air dry in warm weather and blow dry a bit in winter.

I flat iron it for special times but generally just comb and go. So it's one minute most days and 10 if I use the flat iron.

Makeup takes around 5 minutes. Foundation, neutral shadow, mascara and blush. Sometimes lip gloss but never wear lipstick.

I'm having a hard time believing that I'm the high maintenance one in the hair and makeup department. I have fine hair so I usually let it air dry so it doesn't get splits. I curl and fix it it later in the day so it doesn't just hang. I moisturize in the am and pm when I wash my face. I wear makeup most days - foundation , mascara, blush and lipstick and then eye liner and eyeshadow if I want a little bit dressier look.

I don''t wear much nail polish unless I'm going someplace special.

I don't have a clue how much time it takes but I wash my hair in the shower (usually at night) and unless I am going out, let it air dry. I use a curling iron or hot rollers to add some curl if I am going out. It's not a quick job probably 16 minutes at least.

Make up is another issue. Around the house I don't wear make up but I do love make up and always have so at 72 I still wear it. I use a cover up on my rosy cheeks and then a brush on powder and highlights. I do my eyes with eyeliner, shadow and mascara. I did a lot of research on makeup for older women so I feel like I know what to put on and get away with as opposed to looking like a clown. Even at 72 I like looking good when I go out.

I have shoulder length curly/thick hair. I blow dry and flat iron it everyday. 30 minutes on hair and less than 5 minutes on make up.

I haven't worn foundation since the heat of menopause -- and the advent of facial hair. I touch up my brows, a dab of mascara, lip liner and lipstick. Sometimes powder blush if I look pale. About three minutes total?

I wash my hair twice a week -- in my bathroom sink. My hair is heavy and still quite thick, cut chin-length. I shampoo, condition, add a dime-sized bit of a setting aide, then blow it dry with a roller-dryer to turn ends under. Easy to handle with a good cut. About 15 minutes because thick hair dries slowly.

I don't wash my hair every day..three times a week. It's a blunt cut I first blow dry, then flat iron, put on jumbo rollers for three minutes and I'm good to go to the next time I wash . Makeup..none when I'm home, when I leave bronzer on cheeks, lipstick, eyeshadow ,liner ,and Vaseline on lashes . I have never used mascara in my life and have never used foundation. Takes me three minutes if that.

I wash my hair in the shower every other day (about 2 minutes), towel dry, and comb. I usually shower at night, and my hair is very shot so is pretty messy in the morning. I wet my hands, and rub through my hair a couple of times, then comb. That's about 20 seconds a day. If the skin on my face is dry and flaky in spots (gets that way maybe every other week), I put some cortisone cream on. That's another 5-10 seconds.

If it's a special occasion, or once in a while just for fun, I put on some mascara. That's about 30 seconds.

Every 6-8 weeks, I color my hair. That's about an hour and 15 minutes beginning to end - I HATE taking that time!!

I used to have to pluck my eyebrows just a little, but as I've gotten older, the wild hairs don't seem to come back so I probably haven't had to do pluck a single one for a year now.

That's it. 2 minutes every other day. A few seconds a day every day. A little over an hour every couple of months.

I never did like the feel of foundation on my skin, or lipstick. Used to use a little blush and eye shadow when I actually had to drive into an office to work. Now, my home office, my puppies, my daughter, and my husband don't mind me au natural :-)

None. Take a hot bath at night. Get up in the morning, run a comb through my hair, throw some water on my face, throw on a dress, slip on shoes and walk out the door. I brush my teeth later at work after I've had my couple of cups of coffee.

Wow, I am surprised how many women don't wear any makeup at all. Good for you. I feel completely naked without at least eye makeup when I'm out in public, though at home I don't wear makeup. I like to give my skin a break.

Chi83, when I was very young, looking a "certain" way was important to me. I would make sure to get out of bed before DH just so I could get my makeup on before he saw me. I know that's silly, but that's the way it was. Hair wasn't as important, as I wore it long and straight. As I got older, the makeup routine began to take less time and the hair routine began to take more time.

Now that I'm officially "old", I find that there is little I can do about the way my face looks (don't want to cake it on), but I still want my hair to look nice, although a simpler style.

Makeup takes me about 2-3 minutes (liner and mascara only), and hair takes me about 10. I wash it about 5 times a week and blow it dry, using a round brush to give it some umph. My hairstylist has made it easy for me by giving my short hair a nice feathering all over and spiky bangs.

I don't wear makeup at home. If I am running out to do errands, I use some blusher and lipstick. Other times, such as church, volunteering at the hospital, etc., etc., I use mineral foundation, blush, eyeliner and mascara. It takes me 5 minutes or less to do my hair and makeup. My hair is short and naturally curly I get highlights and low lights every 3 or 4 months and get my hair trimmed every 5 weeks.
In the last couple of weeks I have had cataracts removed and no longer wear glasses except for reading. I am adding a little extra eye makeup now.

I'm 50. A few years ago SIL gave me some huge makeup kit she bought on the TV for several hundred dollars and didn't like it. DH and DS were watching a movie. I was upstairs playing with the makeup kit. I went downstairs to show them my 'new face' - I didn't even get to say anything, as soon as I got to the bottom of the stairs, they both looked up at the same time and, in unison, said "go wash your face"
I laughed so hard and never bothered with it again. LOL

If staying home, which is MOST days, I do my face/hair first thng...maybe 10 minutes.

If going out for routine shopping, etc....maybe a little longer...15 minutes?

If getting dressed up to go out.. I allow 30 minutes. I seldom have to do more than run a brush/comb through my hair..it's curly and has a mind of its own anyway.

I think it has to do with your face. I think makeup really flatters my face but my mom looked strange with makeup on. She tried to have me do her eye makeup a few times and it always looked goofy. She looked better without when I know for a fact I look better with it. My face is completely washed out otherwise and I like to play up my eyes as they are my best feature.

She was also blond and tan with a narrow face and I'm very dark haired and fair with a wider face so I think that factors into it.

Chi83, I am impressed by the number of women who don't wear any or wear little makeup too. I see so many people every day at work and women caking on the makeup. I do a bit of concealer to even out my skin tone and a bit of blush all over my face (I used to be a sun worshipper, I rarely am out during the day anymore!) to give me a little color, but I found that really highlighting my eyes is the best way for me to look complete. If I am not working I am facially naked until I have to go back to work.

I had a roommate that took over an hour to get ready. She wore so much makeup (and slept in it!) that she could probably peel it off her face afterwards.

10 minutes? Are you ladies kidding me,,,if you can do your hair and makeup in 10 minutes what the hell takes a half hour while I am doing the silly dance in the hall waiting to get in the bathroom?

All I know about womens hair and makeup is I took my ex to the beauty shop once and she was there for over an hour,,,and that was just to get the estimate!

Lazypup - you are funny! It takes me an hour to get ready for work in the morning. I shower, dry my hair, mess with my hair with an iron, put on makeup and get dressed. If we are going out for the evening, it takes me about 30 minutes (if I don't have to take a shower). If I'm really being a slob to go out, it takes me about 15 minutes.

Many years ago, I had a very high maintenance 'do. It was a "Dorothy Hammill Camel" cut, chin length, straight and turned under. took me 45 minutes to blow dry just so. Now my hair is longer and natural. I shampoo twice a week, use conditioner, comb with a wide-tooth comb and let it air dry. I consider my gray hairs my "highlights".

I cut my long hair in August,now my hair takes me seconds to do.

As for makeup-none on a daily basis. It just rubs off on my surgical mask at work. For a night out, or if I want to impress my makeup takes me 10 minutes but I rarely wear it.

I am lucky that at 52 I have good skin. Still nice and tight (on my face that is). My only issue is brown spots from sun exposure while golfing, but that is easily covered. I learned my lesson and religiously wear spf 50 from oil of olay regenerist every day.

I wash my hair every morning and blow it out and put light makeup on. I look better and feel better when I do.

I wear make up almost every day. Sometimes on Fridays (I work from home) or Saturdays I'll go without make up. I'm not elaborate with make up unless we are going out somewhere special. I am somewhat particular about my hair. I wear it short, but it works well with my face. I blow dry it and "curl" it with a barrel hair brush. Then I use a product to style it, and I finish off with hairspray. Typical time spent would be about 15 minutes for make up and hair.
