Jim, I always make extra potatoes to have fried. Whether boiled or mashed. Yummmm a nice crust on fried mashed potatoes. A Reuben has always intrigued me because I love sauerkraut, but have never had one, Pam. Raven that is true comfort food isn't it? GM, your pastas always sound so good. Shirley, your tilapia reminds me that I must take some fish from the freezer and have a fillet. Jim you went to a lot of work with your pizza. Sounds delicious.

Old Fixer, I find that the weeds are terrible to pull when the soil is bone dry. I usually leave the root in the soil. :( Fun, I smiled when I read what your dinner was. Did you pop it on the stove, or microwave? We had chili from the freezer. I like mine over rice with a dollop of yogurt to tame the heat.

Lots of variety for dinner this evening! Shirley, I love days that have no interruptions. Even days that I plan to stay home and get caught up on things, there are usually reasons to head out or someone comes over. Stuffed peppers sure sound good! Pam a BLT is good anytime. That's usually what hubby orders when we go out for breakfast (he doesn't do eggs) Angela we had corn on the cob on the weekend and nuked it with the husks on. Have you tried that? OF we were in a store today and the Halloween stuff was out along with back-to-school supplies. Rhizo, I love the sound of your dinner every time you have that! B.e. peas I doubt I would like but that would be easy to leave out. I remember you said once it was a mix that you buy. Phyllis, eating frozen grapes made me smile, then I saw the radish sandwich. I feel sorry for you LOL. Maybe we should all send you a bit of our dinners, and you'd have a feast! KIttiemom, everytime I see you having shrimp scampi I want it. But we never buy shrimp. I'm going to have to just buy a bag of frozen ones once and for all and make it. :)

Same as yesterday -- Various snacks, cheeses, hors d'oeuvres, mini sandwiches, chocolate-dipped fruits, and brownies at a Christmas party. Yesterday was a retirement party for the head of the University Library where I work, today was a shindig put on by a large realty firm at which friends of ours work.
