What's for dinner Thursday 5th

Jasdip suggested that we randomly start the what's for dinner thread till Patti wants it back.
So anyone who sees that there's no thread yet feel free to start it. Just please title it as Patti always did so it will be easier to spot.

I still am down with a sinus infection so tonight is leftover soup I made last night.

Same as yesterday -- Various snacks, cheeses, hors d'oeuvres, mini sandwiches, chocolate-dipped fruits, and brownies at a Christmas party. Yesterday was a retirement party for the head of the University Library where I work, today was a shindig put on by a large realty firm at which friends of ours work.

Mimipadv......we always find that the pineapples get sweeter when we leave them on the counter for a couple of days. When they start to smell like a pineapple we cut it open. Your pork chop dinner sounds delicious. It was cold enough that I was wanting a beef roast. Party, today was definitely chili weather in your area and ours (and Gadgets') Pam what a treat, having filet mignon!! Good for you! Rhizo, I have the urge for quinoa tabbuleh and your dinner confirmed my taste buds wanting that. That's a summer dish for me. Gadgets your chicken and potato wedges sounds good to me too!

I just made a big tray of meat, cheese, crackers, assorted fresh vegetables and some dip. If I can drag myself down to the freezer in the basement, I will pull out some steaks to throw on the grill tonight. I don't know why I am feeling so sluggish for the past couple days.

We got the CSA box today and I think I will make a large salad with the organic lettuce and spinach, some sugar snap peas, some toasted walnuts and slice the last of the turkey on top.
I keep the lettuce and spinach in the Foodsaver canister and they last for at least two weeks.

Thursday..breakfast...
Tonight was pancakes, eggs, sausage patties and fried ham slices..

I also made two batches of pink camo cupcakes..and frosted them with raspberry vanilla bean frosting.

Sorry I didn't come back to comment I took a nap and it was a bit longer than I intended lol.

Everything sounds great. I love pot pie.
I have never seen that one gadgets.

15 bean soup and corn bread. Hit the spot. Supposed to get below zero tonight. Thermostat in the back yard says it's below that now.

We are having camo day tomorrow at school..

I just finished camo nails in pinks. I found pink camo cupcake papers...which led to....Pink Camo Cupcakes..

I made the batter into 2 shades of pink plus the vanilla batter. Blobbed in the three batters.
The frosting was done in pink, tan and plain...swirled all three together..looks like Neopalatin though lol...

I will take a photo tomorrow.

I had the Micheal Jackson sushi roll and the Spider sushi with enough left to be brought home for lunch tomorrow!! Hey it was my birthday

Tomorrow night will be chili dogs...lol

It was beef stroganoff, cabbage slaw and pinto beans at our house. For dessert we made an apple crisp with some Granny Smiths.
