Tonight we are having chicken fried steak, roasted root veggies and a tossed green salad. I baked some date and walnut cookies this morning for the guys when they come in for coffee, so that with some vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Sometimes I just shouldn't open the dinner threads. I want what everyone else fixed. But then again, if I ate at your houses with all those goodies, I'd gain a pound a day. I had meatballs w/red beans along with a potato.

I have a big pot of chili simmering on the stove and brownies in the oven.

I am going to make my kickin shrimp fettuccine for dinner and some garlic Texas toast.

Oooh, some yummy food across the country tonight! I am fixing Ina Garten's recipe for coq au vin, with a few tweaks. Oh my, it smells so good. I'll have green beans and mushrooms on the side (with a little chopped pancetta), and brown rice.

I had leftover hamburger casserole thing, cottage cheese, and toasted garlic bread. 'Twas good!

Finishing up leftovers here. We just had meatloaf sandwiches on that nice crusty bread.

I did post it once but I can do it again.

Today was another one of my lunches with my daughter-in-law. Although I didn't plan it this way, it turned out to be a yellow lunch. I made Tofu Sunshine Veggie Burgers, Red Lentil Soup (turned yellow from turmeric), and corn muffins.

I tossed a bunch of fresh baby spinach in the leftover Quick Cod Chowder and hubby heated that up.
