What's for dinner Tuesday?

I think we're having leftover chicken noodle casserole and the leftover caprese salad from dinner last night. We have some cranberry sauce left, too. I'm not too excited about it but we need to eat it or throw it out, so eat it it will be.

Mine was yummy!

Sarris's for their Tuesday smoked sausage with peppers and sauerkraut, and baby green limas. So good.

Then pb was calling and I bought a jar :o(

Sue, both your dinner and Norm's sound delicious. Hope you are staying warm. It seems the worst of the weather is over and the nation will get back to half-way decent temperatures. Pam, yes I can taste one speck of pepper in a dish. Normally, I love pepper. I can't remember whether it was the chemo or radiation that caused it, but I do know my taste buds are whacky now. Sure hope they go back to normal soon. Panera's broccoli/cheese is my fav! Raven, what can I say but "YUM". You are such a good cook! Laura, I'm surprised you are able to eat after Glenda fed you, but a little chicken stir-fry never hurt anyone :-) Shirley, I haven't tried the chipped beef. It looks like that polar vortex is on it's way out so we will all be happy to get out of the house come the weekend! Kittiemom, enjoy the pot pie! Jasdip, how nice of them to invite you to their Christmas celebration. I could eat my weight in baklava. It is just too delicious!!

We went to the club tonight to finish up our minimum since we leave for Florida on Saturday. DH had a half-price hamburger since it's half price night tonight and my friend and I had a small Caesar salad and an appetizer of risotto and wild mushrooms. Just a perfect size dinner. It was beautiful here todayÃ¢ÂÂ¦in the 70's. Played my first 18 holes of golf since November. Shot 103 which is not great but I didn't expect much since I haven't had a club in my hand since early November and I didn't even get over early enough to hit some balls. The putting wasn't so great either and that's the best part of my game. Just a taste of the good weather to come.

Sue, I've been hungry for smoked sausage since someone mentioned having it with cabbage a while back. Sure makes for a good, quick dinner. Laura, hope you enjoy your dinner. Glenda, stay warm--we're getting colder by the minute here! Gazania, wow! That's a lot of dinner! Jasdip, you get the clean frig medal! I'd freeze if I sleptwith the window opened even a crack :-( Seagrass, we can't wait to find out what you had for dinner!! Jean, my bathroom's about the size of a postage stamp so I couldn't pull anything like that off. I love the sound of your shower curtain! (Hate that taping!) Mary, you'll enjoy those flannel sheets tonight for sure. BLT's! Sigh!! Monica, you are so right about homemade bean soup. It's delicious. Sometimes I make big fluffy dumplings and pour the bean soup over the top. Yum! Matti, you still have a while to figure it out. Salad sounds good to me!

We finished up the leftover scalloped potatoes. They taste even better the following day (or so). Made sausages and red sauce (browned sausages served with a red sauce of ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, worcestershire and mustard, onions and celery). Broccoli on the side.

Making home made chicken pot pie tonight. The weather is really nice today a cool breeze blowing through the house with the windows open, think the pot pie will be just right.

A lot of chicken tonite! We're having the rest of the chicken that I made on Sunday, with rice. Along with homemade rolls that I made Sunday as well. (also made lemon cake....Sunday was a baking day!)

Polish sausage in hotdog rolls and baked beans. I have a bell pepper and some onions so maybe I will saute them. Apple pie for dessert.

Lasagna. Dinner for tomorrow is in the slow cooker, ham hocks, potatoes and green beans.

Well, I'm leaving at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow for a golfing overnighter with some lady friends. We're staying at one of the lady's daughter's house. Her sons give up their bedrooms for us so I wanted to bake some cookies for them. I have much to do because it's been a busy week so I asked DH to pick up some Chinese. We had General Tso's chicken and DH made fried rice. They were both good and there's enough left over for DH tomorrow. I have to clean up the mess now and go pack.

Jasdip, I love, love, love apple crisp. Particularly when it's warm.

Glenda, I need to make smoked sausage soon. We love it with peppers and onions, but skip the kraut.

Nita, since you posted you had your sausage rigatoni dish the other night, I've been hungry for that, too. I can't wait to get my 'puter fixed and have my recipes back. Believe me, they will be printed ASAP!

Raven, I could eat at your house any night. You always make me hungry all over again!

Tami, Harry loves barley so I bought some and added to my veg soup last year, but it just wasn't quite right. I used pearled barley but it didn't get as big and tasty as canned soup. What kind do you use? Do you cook it separately and then add it to the soup?

Twoacres, lasagna sounds good, but those ham hocks and beans sound even better. I can almost smell them.

dh was so cute..he had the fish sticks ready, when i got home from dd2..her nanny was sick so i filled in...

we found these fish stick at costco..real chunks of fish not those minced yukky thigs..and they're in panko crumbs instead of batter....
