A year ago June my family visited with Judy Chumley (Trinity TX) at her home. What a loving, wonderful person she was. We had a mini get together at a restaurant and before we left we had one of the waitresses take our picture. I have taken Judy's picture from that one to share with you.

I must add, she was one of the nicest kindest persons. She definitely will be missed.

Morgan...I am saddened..I never dreamed it was Trinity herself who had passed. I assumed it was her mother.

so sorry for your loss

To help anyone who may still be confused, Trinity is Morgan's daughter that our mom adored hence that being her screen name. My mother's name was Judi Chumley. My name is Kelsey, I'm her oldest daughter. She had complained of not feeling well like she had the flu and then she was gone. We don't know any other details right now but thank you all for the kind words. It is a great loss to everyone. My mother was the kindest woman to everyone and thing. Growing up if there were any kids that were having a hard time at home they came here. As many of you know animals had the same regards here as well. Her home was always open and her ears and heart were here for anyone. I'm at a complete loss for words...nothing can explain the hurt we all feel. Again, thank you for the kind words. I'm sure she's smiling down on us writing such sweet things about her.

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about your Mother. I'm sure your heart is just breaking with sadness. She's been a member here for a long time and I always enjoyed her posts. She was such a kind soul. Thank you again.

Kelsey, thank you for coming back and letting us know what happened to your Mom. My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting your Mom and having dinner with her and her husband at their home.

We were traveling with 3 cats and one of them was sneezing. She took me with my cat to her very nice vet. He was able to take care of us as a walkin and I am happy to say that Dusty made the rest of the trip home just fine.

Your Mom was a gem and often talked about the "hood" and all the people that lived around her. She was like a little mother hen taking care of different neighbors pets. She also would keep an eye out for anything unusual going on in the "hood".

Your Mom was one in a million.

I haven't been around much lately, and I was so shocked to read this post! She was always a great addition to our table!

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. May you always have the greatest memories to remember her by.

Oh Kelsey....that is exactly how I lost my mom last year. It was her heart, we women just don't usually present the same as a man does when he is having a cardiac episode. I am so sorry.

I've been weepy all day today, she was part of my daily life and knowing that she will no longer be among us is just heartbreaking. Please know that we all loved her and will miss her. Our tears join yours.

This is sad, terrible news. That Trin was such a good friend!!! She helped me with some genealogy and made me feel like it was her pleasure. She had such a good sense of humor, and I'll miss that, too. This is just such a shock. RIP, Judy, you were a dear, sweet friend to me and I'll miss you. May God wrap the whole family in his arms.

Here I am tearing up again, but I want to thank you Kelsey, for letting us know what happened to her. I have to say, on almost every post I read I would scan to see her name because I always enjoyed and appreciated her thoughts. What a fine, fine person she was. You all must be in terrible shock and I want you to know I'll be praying for your family.

I am so very sorry. I don't even know what to say as I am having a very hard time wrapping my head around this whole thing. I was blessed to carry on several email conversations with your dear Mom. Always about animals and how much we loved them! She always sent me a note when I posted pictures of my little cat with no ears. She will be truly missed here at the table. I can't believe she won't be emailing me anymore. My heart breaks for all of you.

Kelsey & Morgan, I don't post much at the KT, but I have been here for years and I remember reading your Mom's posts. I recall Judy not only because of her kind words and actions, but because I am also a Texan. I have warm memories of growing up on the Trinity River...so her name called out to me from the screen. Judy had a way with words and was kind at times many others were not. I hope you girls know that your Mom made an impact on many folks at the Kitchen Table. She was a leader. She was loved. She mattered to us and was loved on the 'net.

May God Bless your family at this time, may her memory remain vivid and may we all learn from her untimely departure to say "I love you" to those who matter most, before it is too late.
