Leftover chicken/noodles, along with creamed corn and a nuked potato.

I'm having fish tonight, or maybe I'll save it for tomorrow.
I have some chicken and stock so think I'll make a small batch of dumplings. It's hard to cook those old comfort foods when you cook only for yourself!!

I thought my salad looked inviting (I must have been very hungry), so I took a picture of it. The cubes are tofu, by the way.

I had to ask DD if she had any beer this morning. We rarely drink it. they sent over a can and a couple bottles.
I made a pot of Beer Cheese Soup and we will have ham sandwiches with it. I planned on making the White cake with Lemon pie filling but instead sat down on the couch to watch the Minnesota Twins game at noon. I should have drank a beer, the Twins lost!!!!!! grrrrr

Salmon soup. Cool temps this evening, and soup sounded really good.

Captains D's for their senior Sunday dinners

Mike is grilling steaks also foil wrapped baked potatoes and onions. I am fixing a veggie and a salad.

DH made porkchops on the grill, but he put a lot of spicy bbq sauce on it. They were okay, but packed a punch! Had egg noodles and mixed veggies on the side.

I want to try a new recipe, but not quite sure how it will turn out. DH is picky, so he probably won't want it. Guess I'll make him eat the leftover porkchops and i'll eat my new creation? (Or some soup if it doens't turn out!)

I have been very good and had a spinach salad each night for the past week or two.
