A Kellogg's Special K shake for me and turkey breast, baked sweet potato and green peas or limas for Harry. Found the turkey in the freezer--yippee!!

Steak, potatoes, tomatoes (we still have lots of tomatoes) and roasted broccoli/cauliflower mix.

Sue, both your dinner and Norm's sound delicious. Hope you are staying warm. It seems the worst of the weather is over and the nation will get back to half-way decent temperatures. Pam, yes I can taste one speck of pepper in a dish. Normally, I love pepper. I can't remember whether it was the chemo or radiation that caused it, but I do know my taste buds are whacky now. Sure hope they go back to normal soon. Panera's broccoli/cheese is my fav! Raven, what can I say but "YUM". You are such a good cook! Laura, I'm surprised you are able to eat after Glenda fed you, but a little chicken stir-fry never hurt anyone :-) Shirley, I haven't tried the chipped beef. It looks like that polar vortex is on it's way out so we will all be happy to get out of the house come the weekend! Kittiemom, enjoy the pot pie! Jasdip, how nice of them to invite you to their Christmas celebration. I could eat my weight in baklava. It is just too delicious!!

That pizza burger sounds scrumptious with mac and cheese, Tami! But I'd probably go with your hamburger. With a thick slice of onion and lots of mayo!!! Cheryl, I tried rendering lard once. It was okay but not anything special for the toil! I do love me some fried taters. Terri, I haven't tried roasting cauliflower but I've seen pictures on Pinterest and it looks good. I do like roasted Brussels sprouts. They get all brown and yummy! Kittiemom, you are eating waaay to healthy :-) That sounds good.

I've only been up an hour or so, and saw this thread and couldn't believe so many had already planned dinner. You'all got me. DH is gone for some days, so easy-peasy meals on the agenda here. Boca Burger last night.... most likely a salad and B-Burger again tonight. Beautiful Central Coast Strawberries for snack/desert. Does that make me first today????? I'm keeping my eye on the white flowers all over the Strawberry bed here!

Glenda, have fun with your boys! Chi83, I've seen a few soup recipes on Pinterest that used kale and beans. Nice combination---I could sub something else for the quinoa, I'm sure. Monica, yum! Bet your house smells so good. I imagine a lot of KT'ers will be looking for the key lime pie mix. Pam, you get more done in one day than 5 people! When I lived in IN I used to work the polls. It was nice when people brought us goodies since we couldn't leave the building from 5 a.m. until about 7 or 8 that night. I loved doing that! Shirley, after reading Pam's post I feel like I did nothing! Got more to do tomorrow. I'll be glad when tilapia tastes right again! Jasdip, I've read about those tomatoes too, but I thought they were really expensive. Glad you found out differently. I like Pomi brand tomatoes. They are imported from Italy and in a box like chicken broth comes in. The ingredient list is pretty short: tomatoes. :-) Mary, unfortunately I'm not finished with all the changes, but the list is getting short. :-) Grilled cheese sounds really good. Georgysmom, do you like your new closet? Was your DH surprised? Good luck at bridge!! Raven, hope that rain heads north instead of east. Spaghetti was always a winning dinner around here.

Haven't been able to go to an Amish dinner since May. Finally got to go tonight. Menu was pork roast, mashed potatoes/gravy, salad, homemade bread, creamed mixed vegetables. Tea or coffee. Pie choices: butterscotch/coconut, blueberry, raisin. I am pleasantly filled right now. Only problem was it's almost 90 out and the entire room shared a battery powered 12 in fan.

Jean, how was your interview? Sure hope you get it. I've worked with little ones before and absolutely loved going to work every day.

Carol, I envy your long growing season in California and I'm sure glad you have it. We're still eating CA strawberries! Our tomatoes are from NC, however. Looks like steak night at the KT!

Terri, I like foil packets of potatoes, onion and mushrooms. I also like sliced Valdalia onions sprinkled with olive oil, salt and pepper and a little hot sauce. Goes well with steak.

Shirley, dinner sounds delish--what kind of pie did you get? I think I'd try raisin since I've never had it. Or maybe play it safe and have the blueberry. Those poor Amish women who were serving in the long dresses with long sleeves!! We ate at one of those Amish restaurants--somewhere outside of Lancaster, PA and it was quite expensive. Food was just so-so. But we've eaten at Yoder's restaurant in Sarasota and the food was wonderful and pretty cheap.

We went to Bonefish tonight. Had their steak topped with lobster thermador. It was good and I didn't have to cook.

Talk about fancy smancy, the travel presentation had a buffet.

This is like the Tuscan tomato soup and grilled cheese appetizer that was served.
