Pork tenderloin leftover from last night. I'll sauté the rest of the bag of mixed greens with some garlic and red pepper flakes. Baked acorn squash.

Ms Myra's bbq for my usual: cup of smoked chicken salad and crackers.

While I was there, 3 couples came in, eyeballing the walls, the menus above the food counter and by the cashier, and looked and looked and looked.

They saw on The Travel Channel a section on Ms Myra's and were passing thru town and decided to stop.

BTW, I'm having a "special" lunch tomorrow, at Ruby Tuesdays, 11:30. If it turns out as I hope it will, I'll tell ya about it. Laura and Linda already know, lol. Laura, shhhhhh!

Oh, today was shopping with Amber and Alyssa, another fun filled day. By the time I got home I was hungry. They left and Cheryl came out and we went into town to the bank and to pick up a prescription. Then after we were back she wanted to put in the new oven heating element for my oven but could not figure out how to take the old one out. It is a Frigidaire. So will have to have one of the men do it. She took all of our cans of trash out to the road, picked up some sticks that got blown down and tossed out the rotted tomatoes in the garage! Sure appreciate all of that. My supper was, fried ground pork patty, home made milk gravy, and a baked sweet potato. So now I am ready to go to my room. :)

Leftovers here too. Have been out to pick up a few grocery items and a springform pan that I have been wanting. I am going to try my hand at cheesecake when I get around to it. Son went with me and we worked a while in the hospice library
and then treated ourselves to a quarter pounder--I try not to do that often.

I made salmon patties for tonight. Unfortunately, I decided to try a new thing to go with them. I made pumpkin soup. It's not even in the 'it's okay, but' category. The recipe will not go into my saved files.

Sun never made it out today although it had been on the weather (even into today) that it would be. It will just make me more thankful when it does.

Sunny and cool today, just 3C (38F).
Last nite I slivered and roasted a bunch of veggies and tonite I made pasta primevera with fusili pasta and the roasted veggies. A salad and garlic bread to go with it.

Had another Dr's appt. today. The Dr said my ankle is totally healed. He was shocked that it healed that fast, with me walking on it the whole time & no boot.

Patti, no I have not finished my fall cleaning but I hope this week it will be done.

Dinner was cube steaks, mashed potatoes & hubby had a salad.

This morning it was 28 & only got to 45 today. My kind of day.

Yea, seagrass! You had enough left over. Harry used to make a really good acorn squash and fill the center with a brown sugar, pecan and splash of bourbon filling. It was like dessert! Enjoy your dinner!

Glenda, I drool everytime I hear "smoked chicken salad". Saw an ad for a place that sells smoked mullet. Have to find it and make some mullet spread. Lordy, I could live on that stuff. Now you have us all intrigued about your lunch tomorrow. How about a hint? Is "it" male or female :-)

Sue, I swear you have the best kids. They sure are a big help to them--but then, you're a big help to them, also.

Sweet Betsy, so good of you to help at the hospice library. They took good care of Harry for the short time he was there. Good luck with your cheesecake. They're pretty easy, really.

Shirley, isn't it strange how something can sound so good and turn out bad? I have 4 3-ring binders with recipes and make comments in the margin after I try them--whether good or bad and changes I made or would make. Maybe someone will like reading them someday. I know your salmon patties were good, though!!

Jasdip, that's just too darned cold for me. Your pasta and veggies tasted nice and warming, I bet. Stay warm!!

There was a smoked mullet place between Tampa and Clearwater, that we stopped and had smoked mullet.

Guy Fieri even visited the place and had it on his show.

I let my husband pick he picked chili dogs so that is what we are having.

We were both worn out from taking the old mattress out of the RV and struggling to get the new bigger heavier one into the RV and made that we both just fell into our chairs breathing heavy for a while LOL. Not that I am much help!

Ooh Chili dogs..I think that will be tomorrow..got everything but buns...easily remedied though.

Tonight is... Sausage, pasta casserole..

Dessert..another batch of cc cookies is to be made.

Very busy day at work today. Stopped by the store for a few things afterward that I forgot on last night's multi-stop shopping trip. We had a salad, baked salmon & steamed green beans. Now I'm going to work on my Christmas tree a little before bed.

Well....I started my job today. Was up at 4 as usual, even tho I didn't have to leave until almost 8:30.

It was hectic, and unorganized. I got NO orientation at ALL. Here's to hoping tomorrow will be better.

Got home at 6:30, and ate some peanuts. Some dinner, huh?

opened can of mushroom soup, rice, and tuna with this and that from the spice rack! oh added a can of baby peas, too...it was easy and kept as dh was running late tonight....

I was at the drs. late and didn't feel like cooking, so; Tony had to pick up Molly from work, and he went around the shopping center & picked up sushi from Rock & Roll Sushi for dinner. it was yummy
