I HAD a cleaning service that never came when they said they were coming. Really messes up the day.

I NOW have a lady that works on her own, and cleans our clubhouse. Used her twice and I like her. Few hit and misses, but for the price she charges me, that's ok!.

Went to Superior Grill for their beef quesadellia and it was excellent, plus excellent service.

That's disappointing about the cleaning crew. You plan your day around something and then it changes. The number one irritant for me would be that they didn't inform you they were running late.

I had Texas Beans, crackers, and a glass of milk. Really hit the spot for me today.

Patti you should go on Angie's List and give them a bad review~~we used a contractor from AL. He said they are very serious about who is on their list?

No they have not found out why I passed out & there is not many more tests they can do. Guess I have to be careful. I fractured my fibula bone not the femur.

For dinner hubby had left over chicken chili & I had shells.

I have been canning applesauce again. I am waiting for the last batch to come out of the canner. That will make 13 quarts for today. Alyssa was here for awhile too and Cheryl. Amber picked up Alyssa after physical therapy for her knee and they went home. I fixed cream of potato soup for lunch with rivals. For my supper I fixed fried potatoes, with onions, hot dog on top and had some pork and beans too.

I've been tired today. I don't know why. Haven't really done very much. We had a little snag in our renovation project and that has caused me to lose lots of sleep but we're back on track. Met with the contractor this morning, did a little cleaning, then met with a gal from the fabric store to chose fabrics for window treatment, chair covering and dust ruffle. Had to go out to order carpeting for our closet so I picked up Chinese while I was out. Hot and Sour soup, chicken chow mein and some kind of beef is what's for dinner tonight. Hit a new place so I have no idea if it's any good and "frankly my dear, I don't give a d...." LOL

Having BEEN a cleaning lady, I can't believe how unprofessional they were! Do people NOT need jobs these days? Do thy NOT care about reputation? Ask around and get a personal recommendation. As much as I hate cleaning (yeah, was not my favorite job ever) I'd sure come and clean for you if I was near.

I have a pot of split pea soup simmering, and boy oh boy oh boy, does it smell delicious! Will have tuna sandwiches with it. Can hardly wait!

Did something I've never done before--mostly opened cans! We had turkey smoked sausage, red cabbage, baby potaoes. and applesauce . Vanilla ice cream topped with raspberry syrup for dessert. It all tasted pretty good and was a snap to prepare and clean up after.

Nothing good. LOL

We had spaghetti and meatballs. I made everything early and simmered it for a few hours in my big saute pan. Cooked up a batch of whole wheat pasta just before we ate.
