I love a good clam chowder!

Had for my main meal, fried ham, two eggs over easy, red eye gravy and homemade drop biscuits.

I'll have a bowl of mini shredded wheats tonight.

Had a big lunch late today so Im skipping dinner. Satine

I made a batch of chili in the aroma cooker.

Glenda and I must have talked. I had ham, eggs, toast for my supper.

Hi Kittie, it sounds like you'll be doing another jigsaw!
We finished up the leftovers....meatloaf, mashed potatoes and frozen corn.

Another frigid day today, 0 degrees F. With the wind and blowing snow this morning, our roads and highways were closed again because of visibility. This has been quite the winter. and we have the whole month of February yet.

I haven't really felt like cooking lately so I just sautéed some celery and onions, added it to Bear Creek potato soup, and two cans of clams and some crab meat, a little dry sherry and that's what we had for dinner tonight. It's cold, cold, cold here so it hit the spot.

was going thru the freezer and found a nice container of stew...added some corn bread....dh has enough for lunch tomorrow...

Kamren and I made dinner..I had him do most of the work.
I made a quick focaccia dough in the KA...he made and brushed on the herbed olive oil.
He also tore up chicken breasts and made the filling for lasagna rolls. Then spread out the filling and rolled them..covered the pan with foil and popped it in the oven.

Bread is out and he added more herbed oil..waiting on the lasagna rolls to finish..Dad hasn't walked in the door yet..so we are just waiting on him..

That sounds so good, terri! Actually, everyone's supper (or lunch) sounds good.

Robert asked for oven baked chicken pieces again. I basted the legs and thighs with a doctored BBQ sauce (added tobacco and apple vinegar) for the first half, then made a glaze out of that plus apricot preserves. It is sooooooo good! Sweet, sour, and spicy.

Also made a batch of cheese biscuits and my cole slaw. He was a happy man! I'm always glad when he actually asks for something in particular....he helps with supper, by the way. He likes kitchen duty.

I found some vegetable beef soup in the freezer so we had soup and tuna sandwiches.

I had Bear Creek chili leftovers from the freezer. I like their soups but haven't tried the potato soup yet.

And he was quite proud of himself. I love that he's wanting to make food a career..

We had boneless loin pork chops and roasted fingerling potatoes, organic purple carrots and fresh cauliflower....along with the onion chunks. I used olive oil and fresh rosemary, salt, pepper and Mrs. Dash seasoning. And some salad.
Vegetables were so tasty!

I made a large crockpot of Feijoada (a Brazilian black bean stew) last Friday for a group of my wife's friends. I still have some left and had some over rice last night for dinner.
