I wouldn't say mine was terrific, just a ham and cheese sandwich. The girls and I had lunch today at Logan's Steakhouse. My lunch was not all that good. The fried fish and sweet potato were really on the bland side. Onion petals, iced tea and rolls were good though.

I haven't decided what I'm making. It will be either stuffed bell peppers and rice or turkey meatloaf, baked potato and broccoli maybe. I do have to use my bell peppers up but it's such a mess to make stuffed bell peppers and I just finished scrubbing down the kitchen. Hmmm...

In all my years of living, I have only had stuffed peppers once. Never made any myself.

I felt like a cold, crisp supper so made a good tuna salad to serve with garden tomatoes and cukes. Robert had his on rolls; mine on some crunchy lettuce.

A take home Chicago style hot dog from Freddie's, it really hit the spot. Later I had a bowl of Cheerios with banana.

We had fork tender, oven baked ham steak, scalloped potatoes, corn on the cob and some take and bake artesian whole grain rolls.

I made homemade pizza using up some Italian sausage and some stuff from the garden......and will have some of the refrigerator/freezer pickles I made a few days ago with the last of the cucumbers.

Glenda- stuffed bell peppers was frequently made when I was growing up. They're comfort food. They're quite easy to make, but I don't bake mine, which is how they are traditionally made. I make my ground turkey mix, cut off the tops of the peppers, stuff them with the meat and simmer them in tomato sauce for about an hour. The meat turns out very juicy and it's the way my Mom has always made them. I just end up with little red tomato dots all over. I ended up making meatloaf though. Lol
